Chapter 155 - You're Impossible

Caldron was a pretty good young kid. He hardly cried, and always seemed drastically content. Zylvia thought her son was adorable. It was one of the highlights of her days to sit, holding him and watching the two older children play.

She liked the way her son took after his father. Other than his green eyes he just about took all his features from his father, right down to those special ears.

The boy behaved pretty normal for an infant, though he was quiet. He seldom cried, only when he really needed something.

She placed him in the crib in their room and sighed to herself happily. She felt so happy and content with her life. A wonderful husband, two adorable kids, plans to have more. What more could a girl want?

Arms wrapped around her waist and a kiss landed on her neck, "Zylv… do you know how beautiful you are right now?"

"Don't you always find me beautiful?" She turned around in his arms and placed her hand against his cheek.

"Yes, but," He lightly pecked her lips, "You look exceptionally charming when you have that mothering look on your face. I find it hard to resist."

"Do you now?" She giggled and then shook her head at him, "And yet you are disturbing me

from my mothering."

"…" Kaldrek grinned at her, "Well, it kinda makes me want to have more children with you so I can see this look longer…"

Her cheeks flushed heavily, "I'll come to bed soon… but I want to enjoy gazing upon my little man some more."

"Alright," He turned her back to the crib and then whispered in her ear, "I'm joining you though."

He was standing behind of her with his head propped up on her shoulder and his arms nestling her waist. She slid her hands down to cup his hands as she went back to staring at the cute little bundle that she had brought into this world.

She could feel her throat tighten from the overwhelming emotions. She was just so happy, so blissfully satisfied with her lot in life.

"Okay, Kaldrek…" She glanced sideways at his rather close face, "Let's go to bed."

He grinned at her and then scooped her up, "Don't worry, love. Caldron will be fine. And he will let us know if he needs us."

She clasped her arms around her husband's neck and buried her face in his shoulder. "I know that, dear."

He placed her on their bed and kissed her gently as he climbed in with her. He mumbled sweet things to her in between of his kisses. And every word he was saying was something he wholeheartedly believed.

Morning came, and Zylvia was awoken by her young son. Caldron was demanding his breakfast. She padded over and scooped the child up, crooning gently to him.

When she turned back and looked at her husband she noticed that he was awake. He was sitting up, and gazing at her with a soft smile on his face.

Without even thinking about it she walked over and sat beside of him. Immediately, he gathered her up in his arms and planted a kiss on the top of her head. A blush came to Zylvia's face.

"Behave, Kaldrek."

"I am behaving." He nuzzled the top of her head with his chin, pulling her even closer, "As you are my wife it is totally proper of me to cuddle you, kiss you, and –"

She stopped him, blushing furiously, "Kaldrek! Stop!"

"Are you denying the truth of my statement?" He was smirking at her, a teasing light in his eye, "I can do whatever I like to you and it would still be morally acceptable. Well, provided we are alone, of course. It changes a bit when there are other people."

"Kaldrek, dear." She giggled at her husband, "You are going on a rant. And I don't want you filling our son's head with ideas."

"He is way to young to be filling up with ideas." Kaldrek kissed her, this time on her lips, "Though I should be careful that you are holding him. Wouldn't want my son getting hurt."

Zylvia could not stop her laughter, "You're impossible!"

"Well, you're the one who married me, sweetheart. Now you have to deal with me for life!"

"Well, good thing for me I love you." She stood up and handed him their kid, "I need to get dressed, do your meditation."

"If my lady commands."
