Chapter 98 - Trapping the Hawk

You'd think killing would get boring after a while, right? That's what Ra is thinking anyways.

The old buffoon can think whatever he wants, I'm having the fun of my life.

The screams of mortals are so satisfying to hear. And what's better than that? The dying screams and pleads of gods as they are getting cooked alive.

And just in case, I've spread my senses outwards in case any of the ones I'm pursuing decides to show up. Well, you guessed it, Horus was the first. That child loves rashness.

Most likely he and Ra were about to kill each other. Two arrogant pricks cannot live under the same roof. I'm actually surprised they managed to hold on until now.

The moment I sensed him, I stopped cutting the corpse in front of me and smiled. "Here you are," I muttered.

I teleported to his location immediately, but kept myself hidden to see what he's doing.

Horus was grumbling as he walked off in anger. His face was so red that I was tempted to come out and make fun of him.

Resisting my temptations, I kept looking on as he started punching mountains. The sounds of rumbling rocks echoed all over the place. Now imagine I haven't discovered him yet, surely this idiotic nephew of mine realizes that these sounds would draw me over, right?

I watched him a little longer as his temper worsened by the second, but eventually, I got bored.

"You are incredibly dull, you know that?" I said from the side, finally revealing myself.

Horus spun around in mixed shock and horror as he saw me floating in the air with my chaos flame on my left arm.

"Did pops never teach you the arts of war, little nephew?" And before he could respond, I continued, "It is beyond idiotic to show yourself to the enemy in an arrogant fashion, especially if you don't hold a candle to me. Let that be a lesson for next time. But who am I kidding, I'm not going to let you off, so there is no next time.

"I can't believe Osiris wanted to appoint someone like you as the Pharaoh."

Surprisingly, Horus didn't talk, but turned around and attempted to flee.

"Well at least you have a general sense of what's happening here," I stated. I extended my arm and the chaos flame flew and surrounded the area.

"Now, your majesty, if you don't mind, I need to kill you quickly, I still have lots to do!"
