Nephthys uses the Wind element, which would make her faster than most. She can reach this Byblos in about a day, and she even has a start on me; you can't blame me for being angry, do you?
While I could have used the same method to chase after her, I didn't. Crossing the see would be so much fun. I dived into The Nile and went north with a sonic boom that shook the shores of the great river.
Because of this body's identity as the Lord of Water, my speed inside a water domain is as good as this body's flying speed. In a few minutes, I crossed the entire Nile and entered the salty waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
I sprinted though the water and took the smallest route to reach Byblos, arriving there in an hour. I exited the sea when I neared the shore and flew in the air, resting my eyes on a city far more beautiful than any Egyptian pile of rubbles; and I totally forgot that I was the one that turned them into rubble in the first place.
I won't lie to you, it was tempting to destroy such a fine piece of art; actually, there's a phrase in that boy's memories from some show he watched that said, "Art is an explosion!" [1], and I fully agree with that.
What made me not turn it to a fine piece of rock, you ask? Well, Nephthys is gonna be here soon and I wanted to find the body first, torture her by destroying her beloved Osiris' body in front of her eyes. Then I would inflict every form of physical pain on her before maybe, just maybe, think of sending her to the brother she seems to love so much.
My search started, but no matter where I searched, I couldn't find the body. "Did he lie to Nephthys about the body's location? Or did it not rest on the shores yet?" I thought.
I continued my search until the sun has set in the sea, and I still couldn't find it! It was time for her to arrive anyways, so I stopped my search and spread my senses, then waited for her to arrive.
Just when Nephthys actually approached me, and I was about to capture her, a man's voice echoed behind me, "Show yourself! Ye god of chaos and face me!"
