Chapter 86 - Three on one, huh?

I sighed at the amount of idiots who think themselves brave enough to face me. The man's voice alerted Nephthys to my presence and her bird wings immediately spread, ready to attack me at any instant.

I flew from my hiding spot and faced her, then said, "Oh hello, my dear wife, fancy seeing you here in this foreign land."

"What are you doing here, Set?" she asked warily.

"I suddenly missed our dear brother, so I came searching for him to have a chat. What about you? It certainly isn't common for me to meet my wife in this place, someone might even think you're up to no good."

"How do you know about Osiris?!" she exclaimed with a shocked expression.

"And they said that you were smart. Think, you already figured out who the host of this body is, surely it is not hard for you to realize how I know."

"Did you get it?"

"Sadly, no. It seems he misled us both, or just his sources were wrong, but I doubt it. Better run away, my dear, you can't take me on by yourself."

"I have help," she smiled, still thinking that it is enough to take me on.

"Ah yes, the mysterious person who ruined my fun," I said playfully. "Show yourself, or are you really going to stay hidden? Come on, you already flushed me out."

Out of thin air, a tall man appeared. He was at least three meters tall, and he was wearing a white breastplate, with a golden eagle in the center. He wore simple linen pants and had a blue, big club in his hand.

His nose was pointy, surprisingly fitting his small, curved mouth of his and elongated eyes. His pupils were black. Anyone who saw him would take him as a normal soldier.

"And who are you?" I asked indifferently.

"I am Melkarth, Lord of Tyre. You are not welcomed here, evil one," he threatened.

"Okay, listen, Pinocchio, I don't give a damn about this place. I'm just here to settle a family problem, so please don't interfere," I replied to his threats. "Come now, wife, let's go back to Egypt, our dear brother's body isn't here anyway."

"Oh it is here, you just can't see it!" Isis' voice came from behind me.

"Ah, I wondered if you were here, sis. How's Horus? Does he like his new eye?" I turned to face her in her white, tight dress. "Now now, did dear mother not teach you that lying is bad?"

"See for yourself," she smiled as Osiris' body appeared in her hands. It was real, no doubt about it. Damn it! I spent all day searching, why didn't I find it! Why? Why? WHY?

My displeasure was seen on my face, much to Isis' pleasure. And now I am angry.

"If you think that I'd let you revive Osiris, then you are deeply mistaken," I said with a low, angry tone. "I don't care what it takes, I'll kill the three of you if that what it takes!"
