While I was on my way to my brother's birthday party, I didn't encounter any rash and blood-headed idiot that would dare to cross me, the almighty god of chaos, Set. Not that it would change anything if they attacked me, as it would only take one moment to burn them to the very last cell in their bodies. Normally I would be more creative with these idiots and create more enjoyable ways to get rid of them, but sometimes I would not be in the mood.
Soon, I reached the place of the party, a very exquisite and beautiful open space on the shores of the sea, which is going to be known as the Mediterranean Sea according to that weakling's memories. And I must admit, even though I hate to, Osiris really picked a great place, which would make it even more perfect to burn this place to the ground.
I landed on the ground as I walked to the party entrance and looked at the young boy who was announcing the arrivals. I didn't say a word and waited for him to announce my arrival. However, I really didn't expect this young boy to be that thick-skinned as he looked at me coldly and said, "What are you staring at?"
Now, I didn't really want to start causing chaos right away, but this little brat has crossed the line. This was the birthday party of the great Pharaoh god Osiris, grandson of the great Ra, so who here wasn't of an extremely high status?
Furthermore, I am Set the brother of Osiris, so who wouldn't know of me?
Fortunately for the boy, Osiris seemed to sense my presence and came personally came to the entrance to great me with open arms as he said while laughing lightly, "Brother, I really didn't think that you would actually come."
I smiled and accepted his hug but didn't say anything as Osiris whispered in my ear, "Between you and me, I would have preferred to make one big party to celebrate our birthdays us siblings and at the same time mourn our late brother, but you know how Isis can be."
I continued smiling as we broke from the hug and replied, "Not doing so would not be fitting for the Pharaoh. Furthermore, we are celebrating another important event today."
He laughed and said, "Indeed. Kids can be quite a handful, don't they?"
"They are."
Osiris put his hand on my shoulder, which is something that I despised, but didn't refute it, as he pulled me to the party while constantly chattering in my ears. I shot a glance at the boy at the entrance, who was already trembling in terror because he didn't offend just anyone.
He offended a god!
