[Target is unresponsive]
[Forcing awake]
[Use of 9 mA of electricity approved...]
"Ahh" "Must say, that was a 'Shocking' start" "Why does it feel like I have been hit by a truck...Oh right"
My body finally getting used to the pain of being forcefully awakened let me focus on my surroundings. I was currently in a pitch black abyss just casually floating. Must say... the eternal darkness is quite beautiful. Quite calming.. but what if I am stuck here forever? Would be quite the boring experience and now I'm panicking, what kind of an idiot thinks themselves into a panic? Me that's who. Wait if I have been forced awake with electricity which is clearly a thing that is missing in the abyss, there should be a reason for me to be up. As if on cue, it finally decides to speak or message? maybe type? lets just say communicate.
[Welcome lower Life Form number ¬3000]
[You have been graced with the chance to partake in a trial to allow you to reincarnate in Xylheim]
[At the end of the trial you shall be granted a chance to please a patron and if they choose you, you shall be born with a gift in order to spread their name and cause many to be blessed and be able to bow in their name]
[And as another gift you shall be able to live like a king so long as you carry out your duty]
[Should you happen to decline this gracious chance, you will be condemned to the very pits of the abyss which you are in, and be faced with an excruciating..]
[DELETION]
[As your choice is obvious you will now be shifted to the first trial]
[You, being the last to accept this graciousness, will face 3 trials]
[However, Due to the never-ending benevolence of a Great being, you shall receive gifts at the end of each successful trial]
The abyss started to gain colour, starting from the corner of my eyes and slowly became a different scenery altogether.
Hmmm, it's weird my anger hasn't taken over due to a lack of a choice, I may not have mentioned but I absolutely DESPISE slavery and even more so if one accepts themselves to be one for another. maybe I am just excited about the rewards so my anger is currently calmed, well no point thinking about it now.
[Quest Recieved]
{Choose Starter Weapon}
[Difficulty - Ungraded]
[Quest details: Choose a starter weapon from the options provided]
[Quest Rewards: A starter weapon]
A Blue, slightly transparent, a screen appeared in front of me with rows of different weapons and descriptions. For example
[The fallen blade]
[Grade E+]
[Type: Sword]
[Durability 100/100]
[Length: 4ft 5inches]
[Effects:None (variable)]
[Customise weight distribution?]
All of the weapons seemed to have variable next to their effects, hmmm I DO love the tutorial they gave me (that was sarcasm by the way). The weight distribution allows me to control which part of the sword most of the weight is placed in. The closer to the tip it is the more Damage it will let me output, however, it will be less manoeuvrable. The closer to the handle it is the more manoeuvrable it will become and the lighter it will get in exchange for being unable to inflict a good slash. The length, of course, is self-explanatory and is dependent on the person. However, there seems to be a weapon that is just perfect for me. It has my name on it, Literally.
[6th Sin Ira (Wrath)]
[Grade E+]
[Type: European Glaive]
[Durability 100/100]
[Length: 8ft 6inches]
[Effects:None (variable)]
[Customise weight distribution?]
Perfect and it even goes along with the blade art my Grandfather taught me. The actual body of the glaive is 7ft and the blade itself is 18in. I selected to customise the weight distribution and placed a majority of the weight 1ft away from the start of the blade (not the tip/end but where the blade part actually starts) and towards my hand. The glaive itself looked like a beauty. The body of the glaive was completely black and the blade was a crimson red. I hit confirm on the blue window and many small cubes formed in front of me coming together in the form of a door. The door opened and there it was, A glaive that would be mine.
[Quest Complete]
[Stand still while your body is analysed]
"Wow, at least buy me dinner first, the candle-lit kind and a nice warm shower also never hurt anybody, maybe do it after marriage as well?"
[Applying 9mA shock]
"Woah, chill I was joki...ARGHHH"
[Analysis Complete]
Barely catching my breath from the pain I feel that shock may have been deserved "You must be popular with the ladies huh?"
[Applying 9mA shock]
"God Damn, take a joke...URGGGHHHH"
[A personal character sheet has been created, to view it, assign a word to call it in your puny yet functioning brain]
Finally being able to stand on my feet again I assign the word 'status' to view my character sheet, as of course is the cliché.

...ugh.Fair enough, point taken. But lucky for me, it seems I gained a new skill.
[Proceeding to Trial]
The Scenery started to change once again, starting from the corner of my eyes to the centre of it, I was now in a colosseum. Or at least I believe it was as it resembled the Roman structure that I often saw at heritage sites albeit this one is newly made. As I was drowned in my own thoughts something brought me back. It was the sound of it.
[Welcome to the Grand Colosseum Where...]
What do ya know, it is a Colosseum
[You shall face waves of Insects much more pathetic than you]
[Your objective is to survive for 3 hours and should you manage to survive you will have a slight chance to have the patrons notice you]
[Quest Recieved]
{Colosseum Gauntlet}
[Difficulty-A+]
[Quest Details:
You have been given an opportunity to try and gain the favour of patrons, your goal is to survive]
[Quest Rewards: A chance to entertain Higher beings, +1 to all attributes]
Uh-Huh. I haven't fought in a while so lets get this started. Wait...did you just say 3 hours?
Doors materialised in front of me as a crowd of people spawned in the seats. As the newly materialised doors opened, out walked a group of goblins. No. A group is an understatement. Out walked an army of goblins
[Commencing Trial]
How Do I know they are goblins? Well, let me tell you, that their appearance does not match the stereotype at ALL. It's like the people writing novels were either superhuman or trying to get me killed. Also, It seems I still see this world as novel-like so I am not very scared or confused because of all the new settings. Anyway, before I get off track again, The goblins are tall almost the same height as me, they all have blood red eyes and pointed ears. They are all equipped with muscles, spears, bows and staffs? The staffs, which I assume is not used for blunt force but instead, magic is as tall as them and curve at the end with a jewel floating in the curve. After all this how can I tell they are goblins? Well apart from the green skin, it says above their heads...
[Trial Goblins -T4]
The goblins all finally noticed and locked onto me with their beady eyes. Well no point waiting around anymore... I ran towards then, I hate enslavement so "I will free all of you from this life..."
AHHH so cringe-worthy...
