"Chests and chests of work. What joy?" Shyla muttered while she noticed Abidemi smiling at her. A woman dressed nicely was handing Abidemi a ton of paperwork as she looked through it. Shyla sighed and looked at Kanene who stood beside her. "Shouldn't this girl be relaxing?"
Kanene shrugged. " Let her be."
"Yeah. Let me be." Abidemi said with a smile. "Besides teaching Asher to cook, sketching in my sketchbook, playing with Pearls, and touring this huge place. I've been going crazy for the last few days."
"But this is the sixth day, you just met your advisor yesterday." Shyla said in a flat tone. Abidemi shrugged her shoulders as she looked at the papers. "Maybe wait a week."
"In a week, the house could crumble." Abidemi said to Shyla. Kanene looked away from Shyla, trying to keep from laughing. "Plus. I could only stand to do nothing for these last few days."
" I really think you should rest." Shyla said in a flat tone. Abidemi hummed. "Demi."
