It was dark out when Abidemi woke up from her sleep. She let out a long yawn as she rubbed her eyes. Then she hopped out of bed and turned on a shine lamp. She also went to turn on the lap near the balcony door.
She was so out of it that she didn't notice that someone was watching her. It wasn't until she turned on the other lamp that she nearly jumped out of her skin. She was going to scream when she saw Burning Sol looking at her.
He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He was dressed in a dark red tunic with a black belt around his waist. He had on khaki boho pants as he watched her carefully.
"Akeem." she hissed. She covered herself with her shawl, feeling a bit exposed. She glared at him as he chuckled.
"Demi." he said with a grin.
Abidemi crossed her arms, "If it was anyone else.
Akeem held his hand up as he walked over to her. "Sorry. I just needed a break from all the work."
