After the king had finished talking to everyone. Everyone came to greet her right away as they all shook hands with her. They were all talking at once as she tried to keep up with them all. Most of the names she could remember were due to Akeem telling them to her. Some of them, well Akeem helped her out of that one.
After that, everyone left the throne room to go talk among themselves.
The King and Queen had gone off to do some business and Akeem's sisters and their families went to do something else. She didn't see anyone behind the veil curtains so she assumed that the imperial grandparents were gone too. Leaving her with Akeem as they both sat on the steps of the throne room.
" Finally. A break. If I knew that this was going to be this crazy I would've postponed the whole thing."Akeem said with a sigh.
