This was a beautiful ancient city.
This ancient city was located atop a highland, and the sky was especially limpid and clear. There was no war here, and the folk customs were simple and unsophisticated. This city wasn't extravagant, yet it was especially peaceful and tranquil.
To the west of the city was an endless stretch of sandy white desert. To the north was a plain that stretched for thousands of kilometers and on which spirit medicines grew. This field of spirit medicine continually emitted bursts of spiritual energy which improved the surrounding environment.
Moreover, colorful clouds formed by the setting sun could be seen here every night at dusk.
Xu Xiaolan wandered through the streets of this ancient city. She chose to spend the remaining years of her life in this beautiful ancient city.
As night fell, she stood atop the western city wall and dazedly gazed at the colorful sunset.
