"There's no more chance of that. She actually returned the dress to me! I guess some people are just brainless in that way. She assumed that the company was the one that sent the dress, and that the reason for the tear was poor quality.", said Jenny with a smile.
"Great. Just continue doing your job of making sure that the CEOs stays alone. Like the boss said, a lone wolf is easier to kill than one in a pack. When the time comes for Sylvex to destroy him, he should have no one to depend on."
Laughing insidiously, Jenny closed the thick door behind her before walking into the room and dumping the dress on a chair.

As the receiver in her hand lost signal, Liz and Luke both looked at each other with wide-open eyes.
Sylvex.
Anyone who had recently been reading the papers would know this name.
It was a company based in a different country which had recently started its operations in the US with the goal to topple Happle from its top spot in the technology industry.
The media had been covering this topic very extensively, mainly because of the reputation of Sylvex of having black-market connections in its home country.
Never had either of them expected that this name would pop up in such a situation.
Yet, at this moment, it all made sense.
"Liz, the plan was really genius."
As Luke said this with an expression of admiration on his face, Liz smiled at the corner of her mouth while thinking inwardly, "Who is the dumb one now?"
Indeed, this had all been Liz's plan to find out whether Jenny was really the one behind the incident.
When she had started to form the plan, she had placed herself in the shoes of whoever was the one responsible for the entire thing.
Such a person would definitely be worried about any evidence being left behind. In this case, the strongest evidence was the dress which had clear indications that it had been set up to tear in that way.
Liz did have the option of taking the dress to the CEO and trying to explain everything. Yet, she had rejected this idea because it was clear from the reaction of the CEO that he was not someone who would listen to an explanation. He might even think that she had purposefully made the dress in this way in order to fool him and get back into his good graces.
Yet, someone who was desperate might actually choose this method because it at least had a very very small chance of succeeding.
Liz wasn't that kind of person. She definitely wouldn't place all her bets on something which had such a low chance of success.
Instead, she had chosen to use this evidence as bait to draw out the culprit.
The first thing to do was to find out whether Jenny was the one responsible. Hence, she had decided on the plan to give the dress to Jenny after giving that explanation that it had come to her house and that she was just returning it because it was not something she would normally wear.
If Jenny really wasn't the culprit, she might just return the dress.
Discreetly, Liz had placed a button-sized mic inside which could transmit information up to a range of 100 km if it wasn't blocked.
This had been sourced by a contact of Luke's who was a frequent visitor to his diner. Apparently, this was a technology that wasn't available on the market, and that man had asked Luke to keep it a secret.
After placing the antenna on the roof, Luke and Liz had gone to her room with the receiver from which they had just heard this very interesting conversation.
Just before it cut off, the clear sound of a door being shut had been heard, which was definitely the reason behind the loss of signal.
In her other hand, Liz also had a phone in which an app was showing a location on the map on the outskirts of the city.
In this age of technological development, it had also been a piece of cake to attach a GPS-based location transmitter to the mic.
Lastly, in Luke's hand was an audio recorder which had just recorded the entire conversation.
Putting the things aside, Liz put her hands on her forehead while going through everything she knew right now.
The rival company, Sylvex, was targeting Happle and for some reason, they wanted to destroy the CEO after making sure that he had no one to depend on. Jenny had been planted by them as the receptionist to ensure that this would happen.
At this moment, it clicked that that familiar voice she had heard in the bathroom was Jenny's. As anger threatened to rise up on her face again, she pushed it down and got back into the mood of cold analysis.
The tools she had right now were the location of their base and this recording. The latter was almost useless, as she couldn't take it to the CEO without again being suspected that she might have made it up.
Right now, she needed to make a perfect plan where Jenny's identity had to be revealed without any doubt whatsoever for everyone to see.
With this in mind, Liz started mapping out her next steps.
