I slowly walked out of the Yang mansion. I had no strength I dragged my legs to the main gate trying to digest all the information that was minutes ago fed to me by my brother. I could not feel my legs but yet the last words of my brother gave me strength all of a sudden "your our only hope "those few words could give me comfort and recharge my strength.
Stepping out from the place I called home, I promised to one day come back full of glamour and my family will welcome me home with no fear of their doom in doing so.
The road was almost empty with no car on it since it was already so late, my gaze then landed on the other side of the road and there was a black car parked before I could give it a single glance, a thin silhouette emerged from the car waving at me indicating that I should cross the road.
I remembered Luo mentioning that he had asked his friend to come to pick me up. I quickly crossed to the other side gave him my luggage and got into the car with the man's help. He handed me a card and after I nodded to him did he start the engine? It was very cold since I had not put on any heavy clothes, I closed the windows so that I could prevent the wind from getting in.
On a closer look, the man did not look then at all he was well built, was handsome, and radiated a charming aura, and that sent just made me think we had met once but I could not remember exactly where we had met with this man with striking features. I wandered off and finally slept off due to the exhaustion my brain was subjected to.
The man took a blanket and made sure he covered me only letting my face be exposed, with only a few words, "did we have to meet in such conditions? " he then moved his concentration to deice with me deep in my slumber bit knowledge of what had just happened.
Feeling the wind brush past my face I opened my eyes only to find out that I was already at my destination, I stretched when out of nowhere I saw a blanket on me, remembering correctly I did not cover myself then who did it? Luo's friend I nearly jumped from my seat to the conclusion.
Before I could react he had opened the door for me and motioned for me to follow him, while he carried my luggage into the villa. The villa was indeed grand the owner must be a rich fellow course expected of my brother's circle of friends.
