I was excited to see the notification, and it confirmed my guess that this was what we were looking for. Iona seemed a bit nervous. I nudged her, and she turned to me, and I smiled at her. "Everything will be okay let us do this slowly." She nodded and loosened up a bit. Our eyes never left the darkness just beyond the veil of my magic.
We took our steps slowly, with Iona in the front and me coming up the rear behind her. When something jumped out from the dark with speed, we were just making progress. Iona reacted while I was still startled, swinging her sword down vertically at it. I did not know If I should cast at this point. The thing came silently, and I did not know if others were behind it. I stayed my hand while Iona killed it in two more moves. She cut its neck, then its Achilles, and it started to bleed out on the ground while mindlessly crawling towards us. The thing was entirely dark black with black eyes. It had no thought other than to attack us as black blood dripped into a puddle as it tried to reach us.
The thing was relatively small, with a dark black head and pointy ears. This thing was just entirely black with a small womb raider between the legs, small claw-like legs, and small-clawed hands. This thing was made to attack mindlessly, and that was it. I wondered what its name was until I looted its now dead body.

So this thing was an Imp. They are some satanic beast of some type if I remember my mythological species from elementary or was it high school lessons. I cannot remember. I am sure, though, it has something to do with demons. I tell Iona the species, and she looks at me with a heavy expression. "This isn't good; we know know that we are dealing with some type of demon. On the other hand, though, they have to give you some type of respect since you are affiliated with the demons." I blinked and realized she was correct. These imps are mindless, but that doesn't mean the boss is. We might be able to get through the end part with negotiating. I smiled.
"Good thinking Iona, If I am, to be honest, I forgot that I was even a part of the Demons side. I thought we were going to have a tough fight ahead. We may still have one, but these Imps seem so mindless that I can trick them easily." I stated, and Iona smiled as well, lightening up the atmosphere. It wasn't much, but we started to move down into the darkness again. This time three Imps came out quick, and I had prepared a simple incantation. I cast while Iona fought them off, and two seconds later, they were attacking the wall. I cast our image into the walls so that it seemed we were there. This took all pressure off Iona, and she walked up behind them and used her sword to lop off their heads.

I gathered the loot quickly and made our way down further. The Imps continued to try to attack in the same pattern. I would cast a spell; they would attack the wall we would kill them. This was what made illusion magic useful, I think. The properties so far make it useless in one-on-one combat unless the other party has no idea you are casting. The amount of work these Imps would take would be ridiculous by myself. Iona simplified this, and we fought on quickly and efficiently.
Hours went by, and the routine started to get boring when we finally saw the light in the distance. I held up a hand to stop Iona, and we took a break, and I went over my notifications.

After checking things, I looked over to Iona and told her I needed mana before we continued. "Alright, I will do some maintenance on my sword a bit; some of the imp spines might have damaged it." She came back, and I agreed. We started a pit stop around the corner from the light waiting for my mana to come back. After about a half-hour of silence, my mana topped up, and we went forward.
Nothing appeared between us and the light as we moved forward. When we finally entered into the light, we were treated to a lavishly decorated room. No, it's a lavishly decorated bedroom. The night table dressers fancy four-post bed with curtains. This was someone's bedroom, and we were looking weirded out by the Bedroom here. We stepped in and looked around. There were jewels paintings as well. This place reminded me of the mansion of my Mistress. This wasn't good if it was someone as powerful as Mistress; we are fucked. The quest never said anything about needing to go all the way in here. I grabbed Iona's arm and started back towards where we came from when I noticed something in horror.
The way back was gone, and we were in this bedroom with no way out at all. I then received a notification.

I was about to exclaim when I heard a masculine voice sound out in the room.
"Well, Well, Well, What do we have here? Visitors? Guests? Intruders? I haven't had fun in a bit let's find out!"
