I woke up, and Iona was wrapped around my body, clinging tightly. She propped herself up and smiled at me when I started to move. I returned the smile, and we started to untangle our bodies. I moved out and pulled out the Disciples wardrobe while Iona got ready in her armor. I shifted through and found my original outfit inside. I reequipped it since most of the equipment and clothes I found in it did not have stat bonuses. These were meant for cosmetics that NPCs reacted to. This was a good and bad thing since I wondered how showing up in the same clothing would look to NPCs. I asked Iona how I looked, and she gave me a look.
"You look good!" She told me, and I smiled. I think that this will be the type of thing where I can wear it all the time for now. I think I will need new gear soon, though. This barely covered anything. I wonder if there is something to modify the character too. I would like to increase my junk size a bit. I would find more pleasure in it, and I could find some females as well to add to my followers; at this point, though, I do not know what I would attract if I tried.
"Let us go find out what they wanted us to do for staying the evening with them." Iona nodded, and we both walked out of the room. I held her hand even though it was armored, and Iona blushed a bit. I knew she was still unhappy with me in some respects, but I was breaking that with actions. Words are cheap actions that speak louder than words.
We made it down to the kitchen and saw the older man moving around in the kitchen. I thought that he was a quest-giving NPC in the middle of town. Did he stay here the whole night? It didn't matter. I approached him, and he smiled.
"Ah, you two lovebirds didn't run off in the morning good, good." He smiled at us, "I need two more powerful people here, and you both just so happen to fulfill what I need to be done. There is a fair bit of distance from here, a bit deep in the forest, and there is a cave. Inside something is lurking in there that is Evil. It has been giving us Villagers the creeps lately and has been getting worse. Can you go investigate this for us and tell us what you find? This would mean a lot to the other villagers and me."
"No problem, we will take a look for you!" I accepted without much thought put into it. I wanted to go on my first adventure and wanted to see what we could do. Iona seemed to be contemplating something, and I got a quest notification.

I told the Elder he could count on us, and we asked around about it. It took several people to find the general direction to where the cave was supposed to be. It was to our east. That was all we could get from any of the villagers. None were willing to guide us there as they didn't want to get involved. Finally, after an hour of investigating it, we went on our way into the forest. We trekked into it with only the general direction in mind. We killed some dumbass bunnies on the way into the first, receiving a minor amount of experience. I decided to look into my status from yesterday, thinking about stat allocation.

I thought about it, and I came up that Charisma works on how good the illusion might be tricking others, but I needed to be able to cast it. I decided to start to drop ten points into my Intelligence and Wisdom. I needed the spells to be able to last longer, and a pool makes the more complex illusion.
I will leave five points just in case. We walked in the forest looking for the cave. We encountered small batches of wolves as we dove deeper in. Then all creatures stopped spawning. In the end, we only killed a small number of them, receiving twelve hundred experiences. I checked my stats as we explored while nothing was coming after us.

After nothing came at us for a bit, we finally found it. There was a crack in the wall of a small cliff face. The Darkness seemed to go deep, and I looked at Iona, who nodded. Cast an Illusion spell to create Light for us and place it above my head. This was something I discovered in Illusion spells for beginners. I just copied it, and it was very useful for dark places. We entered the dark cave to see the moss on the walls with small insects crawling around. Something in my gut dropped when we entered in, and I received a notification.

You have Entered a Dungeon.

I turned to Iona and told her to be prepared for battle as the second Notification came in.
