"LIAM!!!!!"
"Will-" I was shut up by Zach running into me like a kid, except he was almost as tall as me so we hit our heads against each other.
"Oww" he rubbed his head.
"Why can't you greet me like a normal human being?"
"Shut up. Anyway, I made you lunch."
He handed me a neatly packed box.
"Thanks but....why?"
"I like to cook when I'm happy, I accidentally made too much this time."
"Oh yeah, how was your date?"
"It was-"
"Amazing" Perry cut in smiling at Zach. He immediately reddened, getting fidgety.
"I hope you used prote-"
"Shut up." Perry spoke, also blushing.
"Both of you blush so easily, how did you survive that date, jesus."
"They're so cute right?" Cindy showed up out of no where.
"Look, you and Matthew look good together, but this is the cuter couple."
"What the hec- wait how did you know?" My eyes widened, I hadn't told any one yet right?
"You just confirmed it." She smiled innocently.
"I could tell you liked each other, just waited for you guys to find out too."
"Yo seriously?" Zach looked at me, Perry not looking too surprised.
"Congrats! Y'know, when we were in the mall, he actually said that he-"
"Zach shut it. " I covered his mouth, as Cindy laughed.
"When did it happen?"
"Yesterday..."
"THATS why he was at your house huh?" Perry winked.
"Well it helped save our date so I'm glad." He said, sliding his hand into Zach's earning a few 'aws' from anyone passing by.
"The pizza delivery guy from yesterday, said that you guys are cute to-"
"Oh yea I did." I turned to see the guy from yesterday standing beside Matthew.
"Didn't think I'd see you here." I chuckled.
Zach stared at Matthew for a bit, then turned to me. "I approve of him." He whispered then pulled Perry away to I'm assuming their class.
"Why're you so red?" Cindy asked, looking at me smirking.
"No reason. " I brushed it off.
"I have- or I guess we practice after school today, so I probably can't come over." Matthew said in an apologetic tone.
"Ah no it's fine, I don't expect you to be over everyday." I smiled, trying not to show my disappointment. I can't expect him to always be free for me just because we're dating now right?
We went towards our own classes, as Cindy ranted about how she ended up making up with her boyfriend.
I nodded occasionally, to show that I was listening when I really wasn't.
---------
"Tanya, do you think anyone else will come? We've been completely empty for almost an hour now. "
"That doesn't mean we can just leave Liam. Sit there for the rest of your shift."
I huffed, even though I knew she was right. I'm just really tired today for some reason.
And just when I was about to fall asleep, Matthew walked in with Perry and Blake. I watched as the pizza guy or Blake, got up to order.
"Hey there. " He smiled.
"Uh hi. What can I bring you today?"
Since it was just 3 of them, they didn't have a very big order. I asked him to go sit, since there weren't many people I could give them their orders instead.
Eventually, another group of girls walked in. I agreed to give them their orders on their seats as well.
I picked up the tray of drinks, walking to Matthew's table. "Hey Liam!" Perry half-shouted.
"My shifts almost over, can I join you guys?"
"Sure sure."
Matthew muttered a quick 'thanks' for his coffee, looking back down at his phone.
I picked up the girls' drinks, walking to their table.
"Thanks!"
Just as I was about to leave, one of them stopped me. "You're Liam right?"
"Um yeah, anything wrong?"
"Oh no. By the way-" one of then pulled me down by my sleeve. "Can you give us Matthew's number? And honestly yours too."
What's up with freshmen being bolder than the rest of us?
I gently pried her hands off me, "Unfortunately, you're gonna have to ask him for his number. And as for me, I'm sorry." I said politely.
"Aww you like someone already?"
"I do actually." I chuckled, waving at them. I made myself A drink, a grabbed a muffin and walked to their table.
"Why is it, that all freshman girls are only interested in you guys?" Blake sighed.
"I dunno." I sat beside Matthew, who finally put down his phone.
"Hey."
"Hi."
"You're boring."
"What I'm literally just trying to enjoy my coffee!"
"Yeah, so is perry." I took a sip of my milkshake.
"Well if you're gonna compare me to my best friend, Zach is much better at Cooking. You should practice more."
"I don't see why-"
"Oh my god shut up." Perry groaned.
"You literally fight over nothing."
I shut my mouth and silently ate. I don't know who you are, where you're reading from, all I'm saying is chocolate muffins are the best.
"Oh I'm not sure if you heard, those girls asked for you number." I pointed towards them. They were looking towards our table, so the one who asked for the numbers blushed turning back.
"Eh."
"What do you mean 'eh'?"
"I'm not interested."
"You're missing a good chance." Blake cut in.
"I don't care."
I looked at him surprised, then remembered what happened yesterday. Right.
"I'm bi, I can tell what they see. You're really pretty Liam, and Perry and Matt are both attractive too."
"Why didnt they ask for Perry?"
"He's openly gay."
"Oh."
"You literally saw them go on a date. " Matthew cut in.
We all shut up for a but, Perry and Matthew looking at their phones and Blake just looking at me. He'd occasionally look at Matthew then back at me.
"Okay I think I'm going home." I stood up, and walked out before any of them could process anything.
The Blake dude pisses me off for some reason, he's a junior but I can't help it.
