The shadow eventually arrived, surrounding and cutting off all sight on the surrounding forestry. This shadow was of course Erebus. He had finally found this bastard of a skeleton after conversing with the goblin shaman.
This skeleton being heinous was not the only reason that Erebus was mad, he was mad because the shaman had given his blessing to the skeleton's hammer. No lower being should have that power imbued on their equipment. The power that Erebus referred to is of course Vitality.
Vitality could be placed into any object, the results depending on the object were what changed. In the case of Carmen's hammer, it had been given a shockwave-like ability. This 'shockwave' occurred because the stored vitality would burst forth when it sensed an outside source of vitality colliding with it. This ability only works on beings possessing vitality, Undead beings such as Carmen and other such things.
Looking at Erebus, Carmen began preparing himself for another battle. Earlier was a complete fluke, this was because Erebus had obviously caught him off-guard. In any other situation, Carmen believed himself to be superior to Erebus.
"It would seem that there are other heathens?" (Erebus)
"What do you mean by that, little black sheet?" (Carmen)
"You know what I mean, close your blasphemous mouth!" (Erebus)
"I don't think this fellow knows." (Carmen)
With that Carmen pointed with his thumb towards [Plastic Peanut], this fellow had been in a daze ever since Erebus showed up. Being called out, [Plastic Peanut] looked up and around from his daze and stared confusedly at Erebus. Although confused, [Plastic Peanut] took Erebus's gaze in stride.
"Do you hold a similar opinion to this heathen?" (Erebus)
"What opinion might that be, sir?" (Plastic Peanut)
"Do you believe yourself to be above the Creator of All?" (Erebus)
"Who's the Creator of All?" (Plastic Peanut)
"The one who has blessed you with your existence and your ability for thought. Who else would I be referring to?" (Erebus)
"I know nothing of this Creator of All, I apologize. I was not brought into this world by another, I have brought myself to this place of my own will." (Plastic Peanut)
"You fancy yourself a God? You know not the repercussions of your words, atone for your sins!" (Erebus)
And thus began another battle, although now there was a third party who had no clue what was happening. [Plastic Peanut]'s confusion was only given a couple of seconds to ruminate before being cut off as he was obliterated by Erebus's strange power. Carmen began a charge once more and swung the hammer towards Erebus's head in an attempt to hopefully incapacitate him.
Erebus who had started his second rampage of this evening was focused on [Plastic Peanut]'s party and had focused his power on them as a whole. This presented an opening for Carmen to capitalize on. With a heavy swing imbued with his will for destruction, Carmen hit Erebus directly on the back of his head.
Seemingly taken aback, Erebus turned his head toward the imbecile of a skeleton with a smug look on his face. Carmen seeing his reaction let loose a sigh and raised his hammer for another swing. As Carmen was raising the hammer he froze, Erebus had used his strange power to prevent Carmen from moving.
*Message From: Supervisor #1
What are you doing?
*
"Nothing, why are you asking?" (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
I received a report that you were fighting with one of the Primordial Gods. How'd you manage to do that?
*
"I made fun of the Creator of All. Nothing too terrible in my opinion." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
That's a problem, how are you going to participate in our Event that's going to start tomorrow?
*
"What do you mean, all I have to do is beat this guy." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
That's where you are wrong, you can not simply defeat a Primordial God.
*
"Why's that?" (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
Primordial Gods are max-level entities, thus they are unaffected by damage received from beings that are 100+ levels below them.
*
"In that case, what is the max level?" (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
The current max level is 200. Seeing as you are currently level 6, I don't see you doing damage anytime soon.
*
"That's unfortunate. Think you could help me out a bit?" (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
There isn't much that I can do. I'll have to contact my superiors to solve this issue with a satisfactory conclusion.
*
"Can't you just kill him?" (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
Yes, but I would be fired.
*
"Eh, why? Isn't it just an unimportant NPC?" (Carmen)
*Message From: SUpervisor #1
Technically yes. However, he is one of the Primordial Gods, and until the war with the gods is begins, he will remain untouchable.
*
"That's so dumb! Can't you freeze him or something? At least until I can kill him." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
I've received word from my superior that NPC Erebus will be disabled. This will remain in effect until they've worked out an interesting scenario for an Event to use him in.
*
"Fantastic! Now, give me compensation for the terrible fate that was handed to me." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
No compensation will be given for the user's incompetence.
*
"Oi! I don't think you wanna talk to me like that, I'll do something crazy and ruin this game for me and your company." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
I'd like to see you try. You're under constant surveillance from my coworkers, anything that you try to do will be reported to me. On the other hand, you causing a ruckus could lead to an interesting Event, as such, I hope you cause problems.
*
"Just you wait and see, I'll flip the script and take control of everything." (Carmen)
*Message From: Supervisor #1
Good luck with that.

WIth that Carmen couldn't help but chuckle in his head, he had created a real-life version of a video game reincarnation novel. Chuckling softly, Carmen began planning his actions from here on out.
