Jayden and Yuki made their way out of the diner and began walking down the busy city strip. The moonlight shined down on them as they entered an entrance to a park. "The moon is beautiful tonight," Yuki said as she gazed up at the moon. Jayden nodded as he followed behind, "Yeah...beautiful," he thought to himself. "I wouldn't mind coming back here once this was all over," Yuki said smiling. Jayden laughed, "Yeah, when you can get over being hunted by an organization that wants you dead and a person who you thought to be a friend is a homicidal maniac, this place is rather amazing," he replied. The two continued to walk down the graveled path. "Hold it!" A loud voice cried from behind. Yuki and Jayden both turned. An Oracle Agent stood pointing his rifle at the two, "Y..You t...wo are coming with me!" He stuttered. Jayden placed his hand over Yuki and walked in front of her, "Listen, dunno if your Oracle clowns told you this already, but it's gonna take a little more than your little piss shooter to take us down," Jayden replied. "Big words," Anubis said, "Acting the hero are we?" Jayden nodded. Anubis laughed, "This earned you some brownie points at least," he said. The Oracle Agent stepped forward, "Do..o not resist, I will not hesitate t..o fire," The Oracle Agent said as he aimed his weapon. "Then I suggest you fire then," another voice said behind the agent. Blue flames roared around the agent engulfing him, and in instant the agent was reduced to ash. The man stood staring at Jayden and Yuki, the moonlight beat down on him as his bluish yellow eyes glowed in the moonlight. Jayden backed Yuki away, "If this gets bad, run," he said. Yuki shook her head, " I'm not leaving you alone," she replied. "Wait.." Kikuri-Hime said, "Something isn't right..this power that I'm sensing.." "What do you mean?" Yuki asked. Kikuri-Hime shook her head, "I can't put my finger on it, but be careful this man...he's dangerous," she replied. Blue embers blew off of the man as he stepped forward, "Tell me kid, are you by chance related to a girl named Mikiu?" The man asked. Jayden's eyes widened, "what does that matter to you?" he asked. The man's face became illuminated in the moonlight, his bright yellow and blue eyes burned with intensity, "That wasn't my question," the man asked, "And now I'm growing impatient." The blue flames began to rise around the man's body as he drew closer to Yuki and Jayden. "Jayden...this man...you need to run..now," Anubis said. Before Jayden could answer the man warped in front of him, "Shit!" Jayden cried as he shoved Yuki back. "JAYDEN!" Yuki screamed. "Too late," the man said as he drove his burning fist into Jayden's stomach, "SOUL REAPER!" a white stream of light engulfed Jayden. "Wha...What the hell..." Jayden said weakly. Everything around him seemed to spin and before he new it everything had faded to black. "Hey...kid...wake up," a voice called. Jayden slowly opened his eyes and looked at the black and purple sky above him, a cool breeze blew over him and stars lit up the sky. "Where...where am I?" Jayden asked as he sat up. "My domain.." Anubis replied. Jayden looked around, "Why..am I.." Jayden began to ask. "You aren't dead," Anubis replied, "But your body is in a recovery state at the moment." Anubis walked over and stared up into the purple abyss above, "I didn't think that he would still be alive after all this time, but I guess I've seen stranger things take place," Anubis grumbled. Jayden got to his feet and walked forward, "What do you mean?" Jayden asked. Anubis sighed, "That man, I know him, though 500 years does quite a bit on a man," he replied. Jayden stared, "What?" He asked. Anubis turned and looked at Jayden, "Your aunt has never told you about her past has she?" Anubis asked. Jayden shook his head, "Only bits and pieces, I know that she is 500 years old, but other than that your telling me someone else is as well?" Anubis nodded, "You see, that man...he isn't just an ordinary man, he doesn't possess the power of the Elementals; however what he does possess is the power of the Kitsune." "Kitsune?" Jayden asked. "A very power fox demon, though in Lazurus the tribe that he belonged to it was common for their kind to make pacts with the Kitsune," Anubis replied, "That man, his name is Martin Carpio, he once fought alongside your aunt and my previous Vessel 500 years ago." Jayden stared, "So wait that guy that just tried to kill me...fought with Miki?!" Jayden asked. Anubis nodded, "He isn't an enemy though," he replied. Jayden looked confused, "Are you sure? Cause I'm pretty sure he just punched the shit out of my life," He replied. Anubis laughed, "Martin is indeed dangerous , but he wasn't trying to kill you, he was testing you to verify his claim, that's why at this very moment he is trying to resuscitate you." Jayden groaned, "The fuck is everyone's deal with "testing" me....it would be so much easier to ask "Hey are you that guy? Ughhhh...." He asked. Anubis shook his head, "Martin, isn't an enemy, but he's gone out of his way to find you, for now he is our greatest strength, so be sure to ask him anything we need to know about Oracle," he said. "JAYDEN!" Yuki's voice cried. The sky above began to crack. "What's going on?" Jayden asked. Anubis smiled, "Your girlfriend is calling for you that's what's going on you idiot," he replied. Jayden blushed, "Shut up..." He replied. Anubis turned, "Shortly you'll return to your world, remember what I told you about Carpio," Anubis said as he faded away. Jayden's vision immediately began to spin and before he knew it he was laying under the dark moonlit sky, Yuki kneeling over him and Martin standing over him. "Welcome back," Martin said smiling.
