Chapter 5 - A new life

After the resignation of our protagonist, still unaware of what was happening in the outside world. A sigh of relief could be heard around the 'body' and the previous panic faded.

Our protagonist who had accepted his new identity had no other choice anyway. Indeed, as the memories of his new life were relived, his perception of the world and his character would change. Whether he likes it or not. While his memory on earth would become like a vast dream that we believe to be real, while knowing full well that it is just a simple dream.

The memories began to scroll more and more, these just showed the daily life of a baby except that the more time passed, the more To… Luna could see the sharp images and understand the languages used in the memories.

Now that he can see the images clearly and almost understand everything. She was able to sort through the information, while comparing it with the memory of her 'dream'.

Her body is called Luna Nikolson. She has 2 older brothers, Marius Nikolson 25 years old and Victor Nikolson 18 years old. His father is Nikola Nikolson who is Emperor and his mother is called Maria née Evans now Nikolson Empress of the Northern Kingdom. She was born into a royal family, which makes her a Princess.

This planet, which Luna named Blue Star for ease of understanding, is very similar when compared to the famous 'Earth' in her 'dream'. Of course, there are a few notable exceptions.

The technological level on Blue Star can be compared to him of the 1,500s on 'Earth'. Which is very backward if we compare it with the technology present in 2025. On Blue Star, horse-drawn carriages are reserved for high society, while on 'Earth' they have already been outdated for 400 years even the poorest find it ridiculous.

Education is also reserved for those who have the means, despite the fact that there is compulsory school up to 10 years to be able to literate and educate the population a minimum. In his 'dream', school is compulsory, but also free from the age of 3 to 16 and then higher education is also mostly free. This is valid for the country of the protagonist in his 'dream' which is France, for the rest of the world, it is a little unclear, but there are still places where higher education is extremely expensive.

Politics is just as chaotic, but the hierarchical system quite simple, there is the Emperor who controls a Kingdom, in this same kingdom there are several Kings who control different Territories. A territory is divided into several areas that are under the supervision of different noble that the Emperor granted at the request of the King, or directly by the Emperor as a reward for great merit.

The nobility on Blue Star consists of: The Emperor - The Empress, The King - The Queen, The Crown Prince - The Crown Princess, The Prince - The Princess, The Duke - The Duchess, The Marquis - The Marquise, The Count - The Count - The Countess, The Viscount - The Viscountess, The Baron - The Baroness and The Knight for both.

For the rest of the population, there are A Merchant and The Citizen. There are obviously levels that are created and recognized by themselves, but not official. A rich merchant despises a poor merchant, as does an urban citizen who despises a rural citizen. It does not differ so much from the 'Earth' in this principle, while it is the rural people who feed the rest.

Wars are an integral part of Blue Star's story. It is even one of the major reasons, why it is still so little developed. They can be as well external, invading another kingdom. Or inside to undermine the internal system, but especially to eat the most wealth with the least loss. They can also exist in the same kingdom, on a more or less large scale.

The economy and language are unified following the many wars to minimize the negative effects caused by the latter. Indeed, to have fewer worries at this level all the kingdoms, a very long time ago, agreed on this point. They kept for the most part their mother tongue as a second obligatory language, to avoid spies and other sneaky war, both political and economic.

You should also know that Blue Star, is 30 times the size of the 'Earth' and that there are 15 times more inhabitants than on 'Earth' is about 120 Billion. And that water covers only 60% of Blue Star's surface. The resources that few have found are basically the same as on 'Earth' but with some additional additions. The rules of science, physics and mathematics discovered on 'Earth' are also valid on Blue Star. Time is the same as on 'Earth' that is to say, years, months, days, minutes, seconds and so on, are reproduced identically.

Religion on Blue Star is totally non-existent. The only thing people believe in is their leaders.

Luna, who had managed to sort and compare all her information after 5 years of memories, was very satisfied with herself. But she was especially excited by information that held back all her curiosity, and which marks the biggest difference between the universe where Blue Star is and that of her 'dream'.

Because of this, she waited for the memories to pass the age of 6, which is the moment when the difference must manifest itself if the body allows it. But now controlling the body that has already lived until the age of 17, she knew that this difference had appeared in her.

Then, once the memories paraded at the age of 6, the major change made its appearance…
