Liu Yang stares at the lights twinkling under the night sky. Her hands propped up, supporting her chin. Sitting inside this fancy restaurant, she felt out of place which is why she turns her attention outside.
"Is it beautiful?"
She flinches after hearing the voice from across.
Guan is back from the washroom, smiling down at her.
"Is something wrong? Are you uncomfortable?" he probes, worry washing over his face.
"I'm fine, Vice President," Liu Yang reassures, smiling back at him while settling on her seat.
'Vice President, again?'
"Okay," Guan nods, raising his hand, and signaling the attendant nearby to serve the food.
Guan scratches his sideburns while looking outside, thinking of a good topic of conversation. He had not expected them to be this quiet when he is not even like this.
He clears his throat and opens up a topic, trying to lighten the mood. There is a slight pause before his voice finally came out.
