Amy stops eating and clasps her hands together while narrowing her eyes at Guan.
"You," she points at him, "what is it that you really want from Sister Yang?"
"Nothing," Guan casually replies. "I just wanted to get to know her. I'm curious about her. Is that wrong?"
Amy pouts when she hears it. "What about Sister-in-law?"
"She already has my brother. Why does she need me?"
"I don't mean that!" she shakes her head. "I mean, do you…still love…her?"
Amy slowly uttered the words cautiously. She even looked around if anybody happened to hear it.
"Would you believe me if I say I don't?" Guan locks her eyes on her.
"No," she automatically answers. "Come to think of it, you have isolated yourself abroad out of anger and betrayal. And now, after all those years - in just a blink of an eye - you have moved on as if all those feelings weren't embedded deep in you."
