"Liu Yang, thank you for the time, and of course, for the advice and motivation, you gave me to finish my book. We did take up more time than expected," Lee Nan glances at his watch and shyly smiles.
"It's fine. We did much work as needed for your book," Liu Yang smiles back. "And you're welcome. It's my duty as your Editor to help you, after all."
"Is it really okay to make one of the characters of my book? I'm actually quite nervous to ask you about it earlier. Glad I listened to my wife about asking your opinion with it."
Lee Nan clasps his hands together, the gold ring band glistening with the light that Liu Yang had noticed the very moment she arrived.
"I'm okay with it. Maybe you should bring her next time," Liu Yang suggests.
"Yeah! That would be great!" Lee Nan's eyes brightened at the mention of his wife.
That right there is the face of a man in love.
Liu Yang finds it fascinating.
