My heart beats raised when I saw her I had bite my own tongue to keep me sane otherwise even I don't know what I would have done at that moment I regained my calm and put on an aloof look on my face simply disregarding what's happening in the front I kept looking outside but stole quick glances to the front whenever I had the chance
"You can go....um..sit there" The teacher told her
"Thank you ma'am" she replied and started walking towards her seat Suddenly she stopped and went back to the front of the class and said "Hi Everyone I am Chloe Let's be friends" giving a smile she started walking again
When I gave her a quick glance I noticed that she was walking towards me I was getting a few death glares for the past minutes now I was able to discern the reason She was going to be sitting right by me
As she was sitting she gave me a smile and reintroduced herself "Hi I am Chloe Let's be friends"
Seeing her smile I started going into daze once again but I controlled myself and didn't show my dazed face to her I regained my aloof look giving a polite smile I put my hand forward for a shake while I introducing myself "Hi I am Lucifer"
Seeing my stretched out hand she subconsciously put her hands forward as well As soon as she did it she realised what she had done She was about to retreat her hands as I grabbed hold of it and gave a firm handshake She blushed slightly and I let go of her hands
She looked at me but seeing my calm and aloof expression she was relieved and slightly hurt She didn't know why she felt hurt maybe it was because he was the first man that didn't give her a second glance He was also the first man aside from her relatives she touched but even then he was not at all flustered
I didn't know all the thoughts she were having I was already reminiscing about the Chloe in my past Our first meeting where we fought over a flowerpot I broke unknowingly I almost wanted to kill her for being so annoying that time All our successive meetings ended in fight all untill I saved her from the bandits Then she started to learn how to fight from me to protect herself and her grandmother As I taught her we became closer together until we became lovers I remember being her shoulder to cry when her grandmother passed away that night was my first time It felt wonderful that moonlit night under the tree we kissed My first kiss After that she left the village with me and in the end she died trying to shield me from demon lords attack She died not knowing that her death gave me a lot more pain than that attack could have maybe she knew that and still jumped infront me I don't know As I was wallowing in my thoughts I heard someone calling me
"Hey.....Hey Lucifer class is starting Hey"
I broke out of my thoughts and looked at Chloe she was the one who called me I looked at her with eyes full of guilt and sadness and smiled as I held back from crying "Thanks I got lost in my thoughts"
She waved her hands as if it was nothing But she had noticed the pain in my eyes but didn't ask me about it while thinking "Such pain how could he have such pain in his eyes isn't he like me just a highschooler whar kind life did he have untill now Oh no now I am getting lost in his thoughts no no no I don't want to think about him I gotta clear my head class is starting" she shook her head to clear her thoughts
Unbeknownst to this I had cleared my head and started paying attention to the teacher
"Everyone My name is Laura You all should know that I am going to be your class teacher Although I don't have much experience in teaching I believe that I will be able to be a good teacher to you all for the next 4 years As we are all formally meeting for the first time let's start with self introductions umm.... We'll start from the front end" pointing towards a guy in spectacles at the front she continued "We will start from you"
As students started to introduce themselves I didn't pay a mind to it During this time I was able to use my Check skill on the only adult infront of me the teacher Laura
