Butler Han and the bodyguards followed after Hanna and they got into the car. Butler Han asked her as he looked at her from the rear view mirror. "Are we heading towards Tang Villa or Mr. Ellen's house?" Hanna raised her eyebrows and smiled, "Why would we head towards Ellen's house? Head to the Villa directly."
She continued, "Though I want to visit my dear Ellen badly, I'll do it some other time because everything has a right time. And it isn't suitable for me to butt in my children's business anytime I want." Butler Han knew who his Madam was referring to as 'children'. Hanna always treated Ellen as her own son and gave him equal love that she gave to Tang Yan.
Qin Han Na was a prominent figure in the fashion industry. She was the well-known fashion designer known mononymously as Hanna and possessed great sense of style and eye for fashion. Her talent was later inherited by Tang Yan when he grew up.
Too bad, he didn't want to follow her footsteps. But she didn't force him to pursue fashion designing either. So, at last, even though she still regretted that decision, she felt proud of him as a mother. Being able to achieve so much at such a young age and making the Tang Family, including herself, and delighted.
Many years ago, while he had yet to become a doctor, his best friend, Ellen was already a very successful and renowned businessman. But Ellen didn't forget his old friend who had literally been by his side for more than a decade; instead he let Tang Yan live with him in his house.
Tang Yan and Ellen had grown up together and were closer than brothers. Hanna had witnessed the both of them grow up and becoming prominent figures. Both of them were very successful in their own careers. Though they fight a lot sometimes, they actually care about each other.
There was a time when both of them stood by each other's side when they were at the lowest. When Tang Yan was struggling because of his fear of blood (Hemophobia) due to an accident that traumatized him greatly. He dreaded the sight of blood and was stuck in a dilemma; whether to pursue his career or give up.
Ellen helped him overcome it and as time passed by, whenever he saw blood, he wouldn't panic and tremble like in the past...
As for Ellen, Tang Yan played a vital role in untying the knot in his heart. When Ellen was small, his parents passed away in a car accident. The worst part was that Ellen was also present in the car and watched as his parents breathed their last breath.
After the death of his parents, he was brought up by his uncle and cared about him, regarding him as his own child. Yet, Ellen wouldn't open up with him and always preferred to be alone. It was until he met Tang Yan in the school.
As Ellen was introverted and weak at that time, he used to get bullied a lot. It was Tang Yan who helped him fight back to the bullies. At last, they ended up becoming best friends. They would hang out together and shared their secrets to each other. Their relationship couldn't be explained in words...
Maybe it was out of her motherly instincts, whenever she saw Ellen, she wanted to care about him and always treated him as her own child. She sympathized him and thought about how much it had been hard for him to grow up with no parents...
She closed her eyes and the image of a lonely kid sitting in the corner of the room while looking desolated, came into her mind. Her heart tightened when she recalled the first time they had met. He had appeared dull and lifeless; as if there was no meaning to his life...
She hoped that one day, he would find a girl who could care about him and be by his side forever. Or maybe she could even heal the deep scar in his heart...
Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the butler exclaim that they had arrived.

As Song Xia walked down the stairs, she saw Ellen who'd just returned home and frowned a little. "Why did you return home so late? Was there too much work at office?" Ellen who had been upset all day, noticed the worry in her face and the gloominess instantly disappeared.
"It's nothing.. Actually, there was this project from China-" Just as he was about to tell Song Xia about an important project, he was interrupted by the hasty footsteps. He lifted his face and saw Tang Yan who ran all the way downstairs with a bag in his hand.
The latter just nonchalantly threw the bag at his face and said, "This is the gift Song Xia bought for you! It's especially chosen by her!" He kept on emphasizing that Song Xia was the one who chose the gift.
Song Xia shot him a suspicious look before nodding her head and saying, "Yes, I bought a suit for you because you lent me your card for shopping... Thank you very much!" Looking at her beautiful smile, Ellen's expression immediately became gentle like the breeze. After hearing that she specifically chose and bought a gift for him, he felt even more pleased.
But when he opened the bag and saw the suit, his facial expression instantly changed...
