She entered the building with her hair dripping wet. The rain was pouring hard, yet she still forced herself to go to school. Students were frantically running towards their respective grade's buildings, with and without umbrellas and caps covering them from the rain.
Drip ... drip ... drip ... the sound of the raindrops falling on the umbrellas and roofs of the buildings were heard.
Swoosh...
The wind got stronger from time to time, making things fly from the grasps of mere human beings.
Swoosh ...
The students and teachers cannot stop the bad weather. Even if they could, they were not allowed to stop the rain.
Clack ... clack ... clack ...
The heels of her shoes were making sounds as she goes up to her room on the fourth floor.
Clack ... clack ... clack ...
Reaching the second floor, the rain poured harder.
Clack ... clack ... clack ....
She walked with speed and ocassionally increases it as she sometimes glance at the screen of her phone, to look at the time.
Clack ... clack ... clack ...
It is already class hours, she still haven't arrive and it is already 15 minutes past 8.
Clack ...clack ... clack ... clack .. clack .. clack ..
Another sound of footsteps can be heard from the stairs. She looked back and saw a group of students, which were half of them her supposed classmates.
Chatter ... chatter ... chatter ...
She slowed down and walked with them, busy talking about lessons and events happened in the previous semester.
All of them sighed. At last they reached the fourth floor.
They entered each of their classrooms, just to find the rooms to be almost empty.
The students quickly opened their gadgets only to find out classes were declared to be suspended by the higher ups due to heavy rainfall just about 20 minutes ago.
The students started to bicker.
"They can easily make the weather sunny if they want to."
"The rules for large-scale weather-manipulation and usage of living things for bad things were prohibited."
"They should have suspended it earlier."
"Why can they not predict the weather? Aren't there specialists in these fields?"
"Seers specializing in weathers are rare, and seers without specializations usually have less accurate visions than specialized ones. One can't determine whether that vision will happen in the far or near future."
"But they should've foreseen the weather's outcome by just studying the patterns and released the news earlier!"
"I've asked the Mayor earlier about it and he said that there will be classes but then he suspends it an hour and half later! Can't you even imagine how I felt when I read his post and I was already at school?"
"Well, I just shrugged it off. There is a quiz today, right?"
"Yup. Physics long quiz"l
"Hope Professor will not have his quiz today"
"Impossible. Him? Not having quiz? It would be as rare as a One-eyed unicorn"
"... which, I believe, does not exist."
"DNE..."
Their school is one of the top-tiered in their region.
Their school have geniuses gathered from nearby places. Students who have high aptitude and are likely to be sent to well-known universities in the country.
But these students in this class were considered black sheep of their year.
The unruly children, deserving the hate and curses of the teachers, said to be deserving to be called trash by other people.
The stupid ones, who were already in their senior year but does not know any junior-level algebra and basic calculus problems.
The ill-mannered, who do not respect their teachers and only give them headaches.
The laid-back, who do not finish and even do their tasks assigned unless the deadline is near and they do not receive any scolding.
The students who deserved to get low grades.
The students who deep inside, was hurt.
Stressed with classes, piled-up tasks and pressured by the teachers.
Tired of being the center of their constant humiliations.
Sick of being scolded almost everyday and looked down upon those watchful eyes, looking for mistakes.
But despite of these, there are things that were meant to be spoken out loud and things that were meant to be hidden.
