Li Jun : Ahem! wife ur hubby is in a very important meeting.This is not an appropriate talk. Let's discuss more at home.
Yu Yan nearly laughed out loud because of that text. She felt apologetic as well. He was in a meeting, he said.
Sigh.. she thought dimly as she ran her eyes over at the small- packed box on her desk.
Maybe it was not so bad to get fired. She can take better care of Li Jun at home and also take care of Liu Liu for as long as he could stay with her.
She smiled sadly. She was reminded about her conversation with Liu Liu's father just an hour ago. "Time is running out", he had said.
Maybe later she wouldn't even get the chance to take care of the both of them any longer.
Maybe she should treasure her moments with her husband a little more...
until the end came.

Yu Yan chased away the dooming thoughts and looked down towards her phone again.
Li Jun :Also- I am going to punish you, Just you wait, You bad woman! *Evil face emoji*
Yu Yan : You better go do serious work before your company shuts down.
Li Jun: And there is a reward? If there is one,I shall obviously work harder *Smirk face emoji*
"Pffttt.. Why is he so silly?" Yu Yan giggled quietly.
Yu Yan: Reward? Of course! Anything you want *Drool face emoji** wink face emoji*
Li Jun: COME UP TO MY OFFICE IN 20 MINS. I HAVE A BED!!!
Yu Yan stiffled her laughter. What about the important meeting?.It was so fun teasing Li Jun.

Before she could even type back a response a text arrived.
Li Jun :I AM NOT KIDDING!
Yu Yan giggled clutching her stomach. This silly man, Of course she wouldn't go.
SUDDENLY , THE DOOR SLAMMED.
"MISS YU ! YOU ARE JUST INCORRIGIBLE!!Miss Yu, You better go out now instead of disrupting the work environment with your laughter.I think getting fired is a joke to you. Please go home. Your salary and termination paper work will be sent later".
The manager had heard the sounds from her cubicle and had first thought that she was crying.She felt a little guilty then.
But it turned out that she was laughing instead. Maybe getting her fired did not teach this youngster any lessons.
Yu Yan stood up guiltily.
"I am sorry ma'am. I will go now" Yu yan had embarrassed herself yet,again. She scolded herself internally.
"Young people this days! You need to take things more seriously!You know how many people lined up for this job?.." The manager continued to scold her.
She picked up her box and came out from her cubicle looking embarrassed.
All her colleagues were ignoring her as she passed by their cubicles. Even if she did not work there for that long, she felt she deserved a bit more of a reaction from them then this.
Even Feng Mian did not come forward to wish her goodbye.She did not even look up from her desktop.
Yu Yan felt a certain bitterness in her heart.
Since it was like this and they didn't care for her, She also wouldn't care for them.
Yu Yan did not tell Li Jun as she exited quietly through the front door.
Two bodyguards immediately rushed out from nowhere and followed her to the car.
'It's better to talk with Li Jun at home or he will laugh at me' She thought sourly.
She was probably the only one in the world to ever get fired from her own husband's company.
She got scolded as well. Yu Yan thought feeling a little unsatisfied.
"Let's go to the hospital first" She instructed her guards as she entered the car.
AT THE HOSPITAL.
"Oh Mrs Li. The patient just fell asleep, should I wake him? " The nurse who was paid to watch over Liu Liu stood up and bowed respectfully.
Yu Yan lovingly glanced at Liu Liu who was sleeping peacefully and shook her head.
"Is he feeling better today?" She whispered back.
"Yes. The doctors have checked on him fifteen times today." The nurse responded.
"Oh. Okay" Yu Yan was speechless. Fifteen times? It's was only half a day too. She wasn't really needed it seems. The doctors would take good care of a person brought by Li Jun personally.
'While I am at the hospital, it's better to check up for myself too' She thought as she began to walk out. She wasn't feeling well lately.
"Please send me a text when Liu Liu wakes up alright?"
The nurse nodded.
At The same time at Li Enterprise.
"Are you sure about this sir?" Greg said quietly from Li Jun's side. "If Madam finds out...with her personality..."
"I should have done this a long time ago" Li Jun ran a finger down the file and swiftly flipped it open. His wife's picture and name came into view. She looked younger and thinner in the picture....and unhappy.
"Did you open the file, Greg?" Li Jun suddenly asked not looking up from the file.
Greg wanted to say no but it was useless.
"Yes"
Li Jun looked up at Greg and arched a sharp eyebrow.
"I am sorry" Greg cough nervously. "It had been sitting in my locker for so long, and I swear I never opened it.Its just on the way, I peaked a little ". He smiled nervously. " sorry"
"Hmmm" Li Jun only said.
Li Jun lifted the file and flipped over it for a few minutes. His focus completely on the file.His concentration fully engaged.He flipped the pages back and forth , his eyes darting across the information he had gathered two years ago but never opened.
Heavy moments later.
"Send someone to confirm it" Li Jun sat up at once. His face paler than usual. 'How could this be?' Li Jun could never have guessed.
"I took the liberty to send Caleb" Greg nodded. He had called Caleb out from training at the base and sent him immediately.
"Good." Li Jun approved.
Caleb was the most suitable for this job.
" He will need to contact the black market as well". Li Jun pondered.
Who could have erased her past? He expected to see some kind of horrendous past in Yu Yan's past filled with abuse and torture...Yet it was actually like this?.A big chunk of her past had been deliberately erased by someone....someone who had the power and means.
It meant Yu Yan had a backer or someone who had their eyes on her, But who? She was so poor and miserable when he first Met her. It didn't make any sense.
"I will make arrangements immediately" Greg began to walk towards the office door.
"Wait! I also need you to find out how she is related to Mr Leng from Leng's textiles.Even if it's about a single rat in his house...I need to know everything."
"Yes sir" Greg swiftly wrote down the name of the target".
He moved to go again.
"Where is my wife now?" Li Jun asked again in a chilling voice.
