On the day of the, in the early morning Qinju was woken up to prepare for the big day.Qinju really could not adapt to wake up early so she was frequently yawning. The people who were doing her make up couldn't help but say ," Young miss please don't yawn so much, the make up will be distorted".
Qinju glared at the person who with her beautiful doe eyes and finally sat quietly. She inwardly thought it was really troublesome to have a wedding. After the completion no one could keep their eyes away from the godly beauty in front of them.
Madam Guo saw her daughter looking so lovely and wished for her happiness. After the congratulatory words from other ladies the matron of honour spoke auspicious words and someone shouted " The bridegroom is coming!".
Putting on the veil Qinju could see nothing but the feet of every one. Someone announced "Fourth prince has come to take the bride" .
Sitting on the horseback a youth of about twenty years old with exceptional features and the temperement of a prince stopped at the dorway of the An Fu. The fourth prince has a smile on his face and seemed quite happy with the marriage. He alighted from the horse and proceeded to the inner courtyard.
Standing at the doorway he smiled and said "Ziling has come to take my bride". The Matron of Honor spoke some flowery words and the Fourth Prince, Qin Mojun squatted on the ground to carry the bride.
From Qinju's perspective she could see the broad back and got on it with the help of her maids. Mojun carried the bride to the sixteen person sedan chair and got on his horse. The wedding entourage set off to the Dinwang Fu.
Arriving at the Dinwang Fu, the Matron of Honour again spoke of the auspicious words amd handed the auspicious red silk to Qinju and Fourth Prince and they slowly made their way to front hall. The Emperor was seated on the main chair with the guests seated on the side.
After arriving in front of the Emperor, the Matron of Honour spoke " Bow to the heaven and earth".
" Bow to the Emperor".
"Bow to husband and wife".
The couple went to the bridal chamber in the inner courtyard. Qinju looked at hand at the other end of the red silk , thought they were now husband and wife and suddenly there was a little excitement in her heart.
Arriving at the bridal chamber decorated with red and auspicious style, the bride sat on the bed covered with flower petals, apricots and peaches.The Matron of Honour intructed the groom to lift the veil with the joy stick.
Mojun held the joystick, hesitated for a moment then lofted the veil. After seeing the bride's face all the people in the bridal chamber stared in awe.
Qinju liked simple makeup but after the heavy and glamorous wedding makeup her beauty was uplifted by another level and since she rarely went out of the house so this was first time they saw the daughter of the Marquis of An.
Mojun only felt that he seemed to see a goddess who has descended on earth.Before the wedding he only felt that if the husband and wife could get along then he would fulfill and respect their marital obligations. He only needed someone to manage the inner courtyard and know her place even if it is not then she can just occupy the title of Princess Ding, he doesn't need any unnecessary troubles. When he heard the Imperial Decree to marry the daughter of Marquis of An who was very low-key and quite talented , he hoped that it would not be too troublesome. But he never expected her to be such a beauty. Coupled with her skills and looks she could easily surpass the capital's number one beauty. He understood the reason why Anfu was so low-key about this daughter, as they had no intention to attract the attention of the Emperor but as fate might be he chose Marquis of An's daughter to keep a power balance between the princes.
Mojun broke out from his reverie and broke into wide grin as the couple proceed to drink the pre nuptial wine. He looked at the people in the bridal chamber and knew that this news would spread like wild fire and he believes his Imperial Father have not calculated this. Meanwhile Qinju also sneaked a glance at the prince then lowered her head giving the impression of a shy bride and felt that he was indeed handsome with good temperament as the rumours and felt it wasn't bad to have a handsome husband.
The noble ladies and people from the palace and Ding wang fu said some congratulatory words mainly praising the bride for her looks and left the bridal chamber to the wedding banquet. Mojun also left to attend the guests with a wide smile on his face .Soon everyone at the wedding knew the bride was beauty capable of causing downfall of the countries.
