"Why? WHY????" I wailed in anguish.
"Why did my face decide to change????"
The minions outside decided to keep their mouths shut despite the strange expressions on their faces. I decided to call them that for now.
I had ordered Vrel to get more than fifteen different mirrors but the face still showed the same brown- skinned boy.
" Young Master, may I come in?" Vrel knocked on the door and asked.
" Need to ask you something really important."
"Come in, " I answered listlessly.
Vrel came in and excused himself.
" Young Master, do you really not recognise any of us?"
" No. I think we have never met before."
Vrel then took put a piece of paper from his inner pocket. "Then, Young Master, do you recognise anyone in this photo?"
He handed me the piece of paper and I marvelled at the detail of the tiny painting. It was amazing. So it was called a photo? A different kind of painting style? The piece of paper was glossy and smooth.
There were four people in the 'photo'. I recognised one of them. It was the same face I had at the moment. It seemd like it was made recently.
The other three were unfamiliar. When I looked closely, it seemed like maybe there was a fifth person that was Vrel in the background who had a huge smile on his face.
" I can see you here. And maybe this person who looks like me....."
" What about the other three?"
"The older woman looks a bit familiar," I said. Her face made me feel a lityle strange in my gut. She had greying hair and tiny wrinkles around her smiling eyes. She was pretty.
Vrel felt his hopes dashed. He was sad. "That lady is your mother, Young Master."
