"Welcome, welcome." said the king smiling.
The queen was also present, Soo Jin has yet to meet the queen. Seeing the queen for the first time, she saw a woman in her late 40's, beautiful and seductive looking. With one glance you could see she was a woman that used her looks to get about in life.
"Father, Soo Jin and I greet you" said Yong-Sun, ignoring the fact the queen was also present.
"Your majesty and her majesty, Soo Jin greets you both on this fine morning." greet Soo Jin.
She looked up and saw the crown prince glaring at her. She heard from her father and brothers that the relationship between the crown prince and his step-mother; the queen was not a stable one. In other words he couldn't stand her.
She turning her eyes away him from as fast possible.
'Don't get me involved' Soo Jin thought to herself. Their interaction did not go unnoticed by king, he was happy to see his son showing emotions to someone else other than himself.
"Jina', has Yong- Sun'a been bullying you?" the king asked teasingly.
"No, you..Father, he's been good to me." Soo Jin looked and made eye contact with the King before answering honestly.
Looking into her deep clear eyes, the king knew that what Soo Jin had spoken was the truth, however, he noticed that his son looked nervous before Soo Jin answered the question. 'This boy doesn't even know he has fallen deep' the king thought whilst chuckling to himself.
"Crown princess, this is the first time we have met and yet you have not shown me, this nation's mother, your beautiful face." The queen said snidely disturbing the beautiful union in the room.
Startled, Soo Jin looked to the king rather her crown prince, the king smiled and shook his head to Soo Jin.
This small private interaction was not unseen by the crown prince. He noticed how Soo Jin back straightened as soon as that witch woman spoke. The small head shake from his father seemed to have calmed Soo Jin down.
'Why is his father so fond of this girl and why is their interaction so similar to that of a lion and his cub?' Yong Sun thought to himself.
The king noticed that his son was in deep thought, he started to laugh before addressing his son.
"Yong- Sun, what do you think?"
Revived from his deep thoughts, Yong- Sun looked towards his wife and saw that she was looking at with pleading eyes.
Feeling like he was now in charge, he looked back at his father said "Aba mama, I do not think other than to family, MY WIFE should unveil herself. I would like aba mama to accept me and my in-laws wishes."
Hearing his words, Soo Jin was in utter shock. She thought that he would ask her to unveil herself, his answer was the opposite of what she expected.
The king who looked like he was running out of air, finally spoke while hiding his amusement. "Yong-sun, that's enough. No need for your preposterous behaviour" said the king sternly.
