Leonardo slowly opened his eyes. He slowly sat up, then looked around. He then looked around again, and rubbed his eyes in disbelief. All around him was a vast turquoise void. Extending on in infinite directions, it seemed as if there was no end in any direction. The only landmark in the vast expanse of nothingness was a blue rectangle slowly bobbing up and down. Leonardo cast a glance around him one more time, then moved towards the blue rectangle, the shock and suspicion evidenced on his face.
Hello, traveler! You have been randomly selected out of the infinite multiverses to be teleported to this world. Your objective: survive. If you wish to return home to your world, you must dominate over all others that have come before you and those that will come after you. Before you are thrust into this new experience, you will be assigned a random personal attribute. In addition, you must pick a class, each of which will give their own bonuses and skill sets. Other than that,
Welcome to Dorei!

Leonardo squinted his eyes at the screen and took a second to digest the information.
"Man, this is some vivid dream", he said surveying the abyss once more. "Whatever, let's see when I'll wake up".
Leonardo then reached out and tapped on the screen. The floating rectangle gave way to his touch, and soon another screen popped up in front of him.
"Random attribute has been assigned, unlock requirements: Kill 5 beasts." Leonardo frowned as he looked at the interface.
"Can't even tell me what it is, huh," he muttered to himself. He still didn't quite believe that this was real, but the detail in whatever this was surprised him. It seemed far beyond the bounds of what his mind could think of and develop.
Leo shook his head. "I guess I'll just have to play along, just in case. Maybe reading all those Wuxia novels will help me out here." He shrugged and tapped on the screen.
The box gave way and five options appeared. Leo inspected them closely.
"Ranged Physical: These warriors attack from a distance. They have boosts in agility and typically wield weapons such as bows, throwable objects, and firearms."
"Melee Physical, DPS: These warriors attack from up close and personal. They have wide customization ranges and access to a variety of weapons. Gains bonuses in Dexterity and Strength. The most common class choice in Dorei."
"Tank: Tanks can choose between magical and physical skill sets and armors. Focuses on defense, gaining boosts in Endurance and Physical and Magical Resistance Although this class requires one to take a lot of damage, it can be much safer for solo players as it is much harder to die."
"Ranged Magical, DPS: These mages have access to many different kinds of spells which mainly focus on destruction. They can be elemental or pure magic, but in either case they pack a powerful punch. This is a riskier option, but the reward is much greater as they are the highest damaging class in Dorei."
"Ranged Magical, Support: These mages have access to a select skill set which allows them to heal and buff themselves and allies. Although not an ideal choice for solo players, it is still viable as Supports can heal themselves. However, they are much more effective in a team, and can be essential to a groups success."
Leo's expression turned serious, more and more convinced that his was not a dream. He had never even had a slightly lucid dream, let alone one to this degree of realism and detail. Leonardo carefully considered each of the choices weighing the pros and cons of each class. As he was intently studying the menu screen he noticed a small option in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. He leaned down to look at it and narrowed his eyes.
"No Class"
Leonardo's interest was piqued. All of these other classes had descriptions and distinct advantages. However, here was this nondescript option of no class. Glancing over the other options once more, Leonardo nodded his head and tapped on "No class". Immediately a red screen popped up in front of him.
"Warning: You have selected no class. No class will receive no class bonuses and will not receive extra attributes from selecting certain equipment or completing certain class quests. Although this selection is not permanent, it could put you at a disadvantage as you cannot change your class until Level 10. Is this acceptable?"
Leonardo raised his eyebrows and once more went into thought. "It really doesn't seem like a good option, huh. Well, most of the time its these unassuming options that turn out to be the best choice. Plus, I can always change my class after I reach level 10 and learn my personal attribute. Although I am not exactly sure what reaching level 10 entails. I suppose there is some kind of leveling system in this world?" Leo asked himself.
His expression became troubled, and his hand hovered over "No" for a good while until he could finally gather the resolve and pressed "Yes".
The void in front of him disappeared and there was a bright flash. Leonardo closed his eyes and raised his hands in front of his face. As he opened them again he was once more shocked by the sight that he beheld: a bustling city street, full of carriages drawn by all manners of beasts, strong burly men with massive swords on their back, seductive women blowing kisses at those that walked by, and much more that completely astonished him.
Just as he was taking in the sights, a large hand slammed down on his shoulder, nearly knocking Leo off his feet. Looking up to see who had so abruptly grabbed him, he saw a large man with a bright ginger beard and a full set of chain mail armor on beaming down at him, a huge grin apparent on his face.
"Hello there, small one. You must be new here!"
