The surrounding adventures sighed the man had a nickname umong them he was known as pig for his shrill voice so he took it out on people the thought were weaker and this boy was in for some hell very few of them noticed that pig a rank one did nothing to the boy when he slammed his hand down. As the large beast jumps towards her I push her out of the way getting bit on the arm letting out a pained grunt and flinging my arm and the wolf off the quickly turning to see if the young girl was okay she was unconscious but looked fine after checking up on her I turned back to the wolf who had regained its footing and growled before charging once more at me. Once more it jumped and when I got close I swung my fist into its side moving faster than I though possible for humans or even me flinging it into a tree causing it to yip in pain and try to limp away but if I know one thing about fantasy books beasts can be sold and I'm low on cash so while the wolf tried to limp away I dashed over and smashed its head in before it could escape. Picking up the woman and putting the wolf over my shoulder I start walking back to the village noticing that my wounds had already clotted saving me some time and proving that God went through on his word I would heal faster now this meant I could save people in a lot cooler ways or be a bodyguard but besides that I'm carrying a hot chick and a wolf covered in blood I gotta say I look pretty badass or gross. Upon approaching the village a elderly woman ran over to me checking the girl over and see she was invited me to her home taking care of the girl before checking me over telling me her story "she is my granddaughter her parent's died in a beastmen raid and I've raised her but after a time I've grown sick so she goes and get herbs from the woods. She sells any extra to make a contract with the guild for protection but she can only save that up once a month and tries to pick plenty of herbs each time it just seems this time we got unlucky. I have to thank you for saving her but I wonder how do you heal so quickly I've never seen anything like it?"
The hut we were in was small it was one room with two beds and a small cooking stove the girl laid near the fire while the old lady bandaging the bite mark on my arm and talking about her life." well I am paid to protect your granddaughter of course I will as for my ability to heal its one of the effects of my knight practice."
As I finish talking the elder turns to her granddaughter who slowly wakes up and blushes the moment she sees me.
