Abhinav looked at Aditya, Veer and Dev in a confused manner as he asked them, "What happened? You guys are also here??"
"We were called by Shiv to assemble here. From the looks of it maybe you too were called here by him?"
"Hmm."
Those four entered into one of the rooms of the main house, where Shiv had asked them to assemble.
When they opened the door they were surprised to find Chahna inside. She was preparing a table of meals for them.
"What are you doing here?"
"Oh... General Veer... I was asked by The Prince to prepare a table here. He asked me to inform you all to make yourselves comfortable."
"Okay."
Within a few minutes, Shiv entered the room with Ira. Suddenly the atmosphere in the room became tense the moment they both entered.
Instantly they all understood that he called them to tell them about something important. Unconsciously they all sat up straight and were ready to listen to whatever he was going to tell them.
Chahna quietly tried to get out of the room once Shiv and Ira had arrived.
"Chahna, I have something to say. Please stay and listen." Ira's tone carried a sense of seriousness which Chahna had never felt before.
Aditya broke the silence, "So, why have you called us Prince? Is something wrong?"
"Just like Ira mentioned before, it was she who has something that she wishes to share with all of you here."
Ira didn't know from where to start. The only thing she understood was hiding about her identity could prove to be futile as the time passes by. Just in case to avoid any danger, she decided to reveal her identity to them and get their help in protecting her family.
"Umm.... The thing is... I am sure what I am about to speak of, will be a little hard for you all to believe and you might even consider it as a nonsense. But I hope you all stay and listen till the end and make a decision."
They weren't sure why she was being so serious all of a sudden. It just doesn't look like her usual self. But despite all that, they were all interested to know what she had to say to them.
"I don't belong... Huh-huh. I came from a different world, which you might call as a future. One day, while I was going out... I happened to find this pendant on the side of the road. Since it looked valuable, I tried to find its owner. But suddenly, a strange light, engulfed me and before I knew what it was, I was already in this world....
This is that pendant, that I spoke of..."
The pendant looked ordinary, the stone it the pendant was colourless. Indeed it looked expensive, but there was nothing that could support her claim.
They were all still confused and had a hard time to understand all the information that she had given them.
Shiv carried on with the conversation from that point onwards.
"Do you all remember the first time that we met her?"
"Hmm... Wait, right now I remember. Right after saving us, she immediately disappeared. We tried searching for her for a whole month, but we were unable to find her then."
"Yes, Your Highness. That day after our one month of search, I happened to find her in the village and brought her in...." Dev reminded them how he found her.
"Wait a minute... I am a stranger in this conversation. I have absolutely no idea how you guys met her. But from the statement that was made by both The Doctor and General Dev, I somehow feel like she is telling us the truth..." Abhinav was confused as he had only met her recently and was not aware of all the inside stories.
"Then does that mean... you don't belong in this world, but somehow happen to come here?" Chahna finally opened her mouth.
Ira was hesitant for a moment before she could answer her. Shiv held her hand tightly and looked straight into her eyes.
His eyes were unwavering and it gave her a hint that he always will be supportive of her. Ira pulled herself together as she answered back.
"I was actually born into this world... but... was sent to the future for my own safety and that's all I know and have been kept hidden from all of you. I am not sure about this Seal that has been protecting me all along. I also didn't know that I was capable of healing people. Everything is so new and strange to me."
"I just had a doubt. But, from all that you have said, you could actually be my half sister. She was kidnapped right after she was born, we all thought that she had been killed by the kidnappers. But it seems like your mother predicted all those events and sent you to the future to protect you."
"Half sister?? What do you mean??"
"I am actually The prince of The Great Empire Hastinapur... But we also fell prey to the Lal's and now our country was forced to be merged with Surasena and is lost in the pages of history. You could call me The Prince of the fallen empire. Ahh! What a terrible fate!"
Abhinav's expression turned dark as he was burning with anger and showed hatred for the Lal's.
"What the! Are you serious?? If all that you said is true, does that make me The Princess of the fallen empire? Hahaha! Sorry this is just too hilarious!" Ira held her stomach and laughed as hard as she could.
Abhinav grabbed hold of her ear, "You really are one hell of a foul mouthed brat, aren't you!?"
"Oops! Sorry. Are you angry?" Ira winked at him with a very cute smile on her lips.
"Damn! Don't give me that cute smile! I won't fall for it! Hahaha"
Somehow Abhinav's dark mood was instantly vanished after kidding around with Ira for a bit. She really carried a special type of charm around her that made people light hearted.
"No matter where I go, I guess I am blessed with brothers... Che!"
"Hey! What does that suppose to mean??"
"Nothing... Over there I have two cute younger brothers and here I have you! I am dying to find a sister. Hahaha!"
Abhinav and the others were a little shaken as to how fast Ira adopted herself to have found a brother.
"That was not the reaction I expected from you..."
"Then, what did you expect?"
"I thought... you would be a little bit... shocked? No Surprised?? No-no. Anyways, this was not the reaction that I expected!"
Ira walked towards him and grabbed his arm, "I don't know what is it that you expected... But know one thing... I was so scared and sad when I first came here... I literally don't know anybody here, let alone have a family. Even though we are not sure about our relationship, I feel it's truly good to have you as my brother! Even though you can be quite annoying at times and pick on me, I don't actually hate the fact that I might have a brother and that could be you. I am so happy!"
Ira was grinning from ear to ear as she told him how relieved she felt...
