The originally dimmed world started to ripple out dozens of images that appeared to be a ruthless environment.
Rael is currently afloat with the assemblage of red clouds that cuddles his entire body. He opened his eyes once more, and a frightful sight greeted him.
The land riddled corpses with a murderous aura that slithered away from the shore. Upon closer inspection, one could distinguish a sea of blood with a passel of warriors that slashed others frenziedly.
Similar to a Slaughterhouse or a Colosseum deathmatch.
Squelch! Squerch!
Their eyes were bloodshot with the violence for uncontrollable slaughter, uncaring for what damage others may have inflicted on them. Countless bodies drop cold in the vast sea of blood, the warrior's swords that clashes resonated with the flow of the waves. As other warrior's kill count rises, the sea wouldn't change in color; however, its murkiness thickens.
The roar of a mighty legion filled the area.
In the middle of the sea, a wooden ark sailed. There seem to be two people who are currently aboard, despite the scene; they carried such tranquil expression in their face.
Then one of them looked up his direction. Then as if some sort of magic encompasses the area, time suddenly halted. "How dare a flea such as yourself, speak to a God with such insolence!?"
The man in the ark set his motion to the crimson clouds. The man wore a long suit and slacks for a sailor captain matched with the classic sailor's hat. In his back, a giant anchor covered in algae rested. The anchor's chains connected to his elbow, which pierced right through the front, keeping it in place.
Its presence comparable to a black hole, or even stronger.
Rael tried to struggle for escape, yet the clouds look as if it knew his attempt to struggle out, in which the clouds retaliated to prevent his escape.
"Puny mortal, you have broken the constraints of my seal. Despite being a flea, you have proven your worth much more." The man who claimed to be 'God' was now in front of him.
"You... is this the greater destiny!? Answer me, you damn kid!" Rael was pent up with immense anger. God or whoever it is, it was not his choice to be born again. "I have learned my lesson alright, take me now! I don't want to live someone's life anymore!"
"What in authorities name are you blabbering about, have the mortals devolved to dimwits after the heaven's descent?"
Rael stared at him with cavernous killing intent. Then the 'God' suddenly wore a face of satisfaction.
"I see, this world have exiguous wrath, and you furnished that." The man said.
"Lack of wrath? What nonsense are you saying? This world you caged me in, is full of hatr—" Rael was cut off mid-sentence as he reminisced his time at the Soulless camp.
Indeed, only a few got defiled with hatred in this world, Soulless or not. Cultivators would mock them constantly; this act does not consider as wrath just disdain. The Soulless accepted this fate without any hatred at all as well, treating it as a misfortune and nothing more.
The abrupt muteness of Rael tip-off, furthermore, it contradicted his words.
"There were two loose cannon that shot out an abnormal rate of wrathful aura. I thought that geezer send me to rot in a remote place devoid of my power, but here we are." The man said as he held his chin, baffled by his own words.
Then his eyes widened all of a sudden.
Overflowing power bludgeoned within him, rather than being on pain, he felt marvelous. He's vitality improved quite well.
" Wrath for revenge, ah what a stereotypical sin, very nostalgic. Wrath of helplessness, how long was it? Over a millennium? Satisfaction seeps in all my deitiness! " The man jovially said, his hands begun to fettle cracks akin to what he saw from the demon before.
The sight before Rael is weirdly masochistic. Instead of squirming in pain, the man loves being 'abuse' by the foul power that 'ravish' him.
"Are you genuinely a God? Weren't you that kid?" Rael interjected. Seeing that his tantrum was pointless, he stops pressing on.
The man's eyes squinted. "What kid, you're the kid! Am I a God? Of course, I am a God! A full-fledged God that was feared by all! Let me show you, in light of your service." The man said as he gestures the clouds that bound Rael to follow behind.
They hovered over the ark then the man pridefully admires the world below them, the world full of violence and never-ending battles.
"This? All of this is my power! This is to ensure that my insignia never dies. I am a God that is omnipotent both in life and power.I'm indestructible for I am one of the mortal laws created alongside the universe; thus they sealed me." The man said, his eyes carried such abundant experiences.
"Weaklings! You got the throne; however, you will never expel my darkness!"
The man beckons his hand impassively, then the battle within the sea continues. His eyes were unfazed by the chaos underneath.
"This is Styx! My origin!" The man declared with haughtiness.
"Styx," Rael muttered, he conveyed an expression that affirmed the man his knowledge with regards to his sacred land.
Actually, he does; back in his world, Greek Mythology was one of the pillars of humanity. They learned that gods of all kinds existed, explaining some of the natural laws when science was still absent from humanity's knowledge.
Rael was a customary follower of the Greek mythology concept.
"You know of my world?" The man, seeing such an expression of familiarity from the young man, can't help to ask. The man thought that Rael might be an avid follower of him, which would probably connect the reason why he had broken his constraints.
Rael was nevertheless, doubtful. What exactly is this place? Is this the underworld? Did he finally arrive in hell, conversing with the real path guider of souls?
That might explain the ark!
"My knowledge of it might differ from yours."
As they converse, battle cry from the triumphant could be heard from all sides, paired with the agony howls of those who are defeated.
"What is Styx to you, mortal?" The man pressed on, curious with Rael's answer.
Rael glanced at the man. The man in return gave him an immovable look, which is quite clear that he won't take silence as an answer.
He sighed then began to tell the man: "The Styx in my knowledge is not just murky seawater filled with blood and lamentation, such as that." Rael pointed on the occurring bloodshed. "Styx is an Oceanid that binds oaths. Her very name instills fear to others, she's detestable. Also, she gave birth to rivalry, victory, and anger."
The man was thrown for a loop as Rael answer his question.
Rael noticed this, which confirms his doubts. This world might be related to the Greeks or some part of it.
"Your knowledge of the forbidden is impressive for a mortal." The man was impressed."I guess this facade won't support your claims. Very well, you have proven your knowledge for me to showcase my true form."
The man suddenly discarded the anchor from his back which, yanked him down from the sky. The warriors in the sea made way for him to plunge straight the murky crimson water. The whole scene where the man descends cannot be described by exquisiteness alone even celestials pale in comparison to that spectacle.
The whole thing came by slowly as if years had passed!
As the man began to submerge to the water, a whirlpool comes into view. Everything in that world got absorbed by the whirlpool. The whole area quieted down as if everything seized to exist, one could not hear even a pin drop. The whirlpool remained in the darkness, similar to a remote galaxy.
Then a forehead adorned with a crimson amulet cropped up from the whirlpool. In this state, the whole thing frick-tupled in size, which was too good to be true.
Rael realized he was the size of an ant, or even a speck of dust compared to the 'man' from before.
The body of the 'man' followed suit in the presentation as well, and the sight before Rael made him think twice of thinking that he was still a man.
He was close to fainting, the power that resided in the whirlpool smothered his entirety.
"Rejoice and feast your eyes mortal! I am Bia, the first personification of the sin of anger, Goddess of Wrath! This world would soon know perpetual torment from this day forward!"
