6 month-old, her mother finally ordered some servant to walk her outside.
Finally. It's been so long since she had been under the sun, not like she'd been outside the hospital either– in her past life.
Maybe it's because she finally spoke. She thought. Then maybe it's also the reason why her mother still hasn't walked her outside consider that she talked 'late'
After that event, to salvage her damaged ego from having been labeled as an idiot, she slowly started to spout phrases— but to her astonishment, no massive surprise occurred to her mother or her father– they were happy but not exactly surprised, as if this kind of act was expected to a 5-month old baby.
The idea surprised her.
This allowed her to suspect the standard of everything in this world, maybe it's different?
Of course it is. She should stop thinking like she's still in earth. She thought, vowing not to think like an earthling again or to be surprised to her future encounters.
As she was musing, the servant already opened the door that led outside. With her in the servant's arms, as she can't still walk.
Finally free from the exact room for six months, she excitedly explored her now environment.
What she saw utterly shocked her.
Paradise.
That's the only description she can have.
A mountain- just below the peak- is where they live.
Towering mountains covered by mysterious mist, tall trees with white barks yet green leaves and unknown fruits with variety of colors that grows in them, plants with beautiful flowers in them— and she just saw the flower uprooted itself then looked left and right as if searching if anyone is watching, the moment the flower detected no one, it rooted itself just few feet away from its original position.
Countless magic particles float around the plants, animals, people, in the air. Everywhere.
Such magical scene stunned Solia, it was like those lights during the Christmas eves but far more beautiful, far more real and far more warm.
She didn't know how long she observed those golden lights again but when she awoke from her stupor, she noticed that everyone they meet would stop and respectfully bow down or nod to them…
"Mistress"
– Or perhaps, to her.
She didn't know how to react. Or would she need to react? As a 6 month old baby, it's known that she still can't understand what 'Mistress' implies. Of course, as to Earth's standard.
Before she could response, the servant that accompanied her, nodded back respectfully to those people and the latter would continue to their own business after letting out a slight smile to them.
By this, she can safely say that her family has high status or a noble, but how noble her family is- she cannot say, but by how everyone would stop and greet them, she can say that they are in the upper strata of the hierarchy.
But is this a blessing? Didn't those novels always state there would be a lot of scheming and killing when you are in a noble family?
Worrying again, she then moves her attention to other places. For example the dwellings, which shocked her, again– Pit houses. Similar to those houses during the primitive era but the pit houses around her are considerably more advance with the use of materials and mastery of techniques in building them. The layout and style are great deal more sophisticated and intricate.
She then look back to the way they come from– their house, and it's just like those what she had seen, a pit house too. But theirs' are war more superior, distinguished and regal in any angle a person could look into.
A thing she noticed too is that there are no males around them.
Just as she was wondering, she heard a loud dozen of cawing of the 'birds' coming from below. Too loud perhaps because she felt the cawing as if it's just right before her ears.
Dozen massive 'eagles'— massive as a two-story building, shooting up to the sky. These 'eagles' came from the lowest level of the mountain are now looking at their spot.
"SCREEEEEEEECCCHHHH"
Another scream was heard from those 'eagles' as if to make their presence known while glaring at their position.
Is this an enemy attack!? Tears started to flow in her eyes.
But contrary to her reaction, the people around her— even the servant that held her has joyous and respectful face. They then walk in haste in some form of platform not far from where they are standing.
The moment they arrived at the platform, those massive birds docilely waited in their position. She would think that these birds are domestic pets if not for their earlier show of might. Standing beside each of this massive birds are men.
To her surprise she saw her father in this group of men with a massive eagle standing beside him that's obviously a level ahead that the other men's eagle.
Solia kept them calling eagle since compared to the Earth's eagles, these 'eagles' are larger in size, they also differ in colors— some are golden or silver… but never dark color, maybe except her fathers.
The moment Solia's father saw her, his stoic face loosened and a refreshing smile came to his face.
"Lord…"
"My Lord…"
When the surrounding people saw father walking towards her, they quickly give way to him- just like how Moses divided the sea, as they described- bowing reverently and respectfully to him.
"Lord of the Peak"
The servant holding her, Mina, bowed and pass her towards her father.
"My child"
A kiss in the forehead and in turn, she smile and laugh foolishly.
"Congratulations on your hunt, my lord"
"A successful trip indeed, now that the Blue Moon is near again."
"Oh my… it's already that time again?"
Hush and whispers of various talk entered Solia's hearing but through this she now have an understanding of what happened. All men of the clan would occasionally hunt magical beast in the surrounding forest in the mountain for either food or training but this time it's for the former since the Blue Moon is just a few months away, or so Solia heard.
But what is Blue Moon? Solia also didn't know.
"Is this perhaps your youngest, My Lord?"
Focused too much on the kiss of the beauty and listening to gossip, she failed to notice that the other men owning those massive birds came to them.
Young and gorgeous, they are.
11 gorgeous young men crowding around her, she can't help but have a twinkling eye.
Such a feast to the visions.
Similar to her father, they all have tattoos on their body although theirs' are visibly lesser.
"Yes. Thank the One True God for that"
"Yes, truly a blessing from the One True God, My Lord"
"My Lord and Madam's patience for 1000 years has now bore."
"Less than a decade ago, they gave you, My Lord- a son, and now a beautiful daughter"
"Truly blessed by the One True God"
Her father smiled satisfactory and a bit of pride with all the praises around them, though these praises actually pointed to the One True God.
But, wait… patience for 1000 years?
"By standard, our men should've at least 1 child after 500 years of marriage, but that did not happen to us. I thought the One True God finally condemned us for our sins, but no, they gave us a son after a thousand years and now, a beautiful daughter just less than a decade."
"This had never happened before, My Lord. Should the One True God grace us again and let the Priestess out of her meditation"
"It's been a hundred years since the Priestess came out"
"It's not like that it never happened before, the longest closed-door the Priestess has done is for 500 years, if my memory serves right."
"35 children in just the decade, the One True God blessed us. Our mountain is truly blessed."
"Such number hasn't been seen since hundreds of thousand years ago."
"Yes, I think the Priestess would be out for the Markings"
The talk made Solia dizzy affecting her hearing and maybe her… brain.
Did she really turn into an idiot? If not how can she think they've been living for at least a thousand years?
A thousand years! PATIENCE for a thousand years!? How can a human have the patience when they can't live that long!
A human can't even live that long! More so to have a patience!
But…
Unless… they are not human.
She then observed everyone that's within her sight— they all look similar to human, except for their shining and light hair. She hasn't seen anybody with dark hair. Only light green, blonde, pale blue, peach, gold…
Light but never dark.
And… everyone is 'young'
Even the 'nannies' she'd been calling are just in the early 40s or so while everyone out here looks like they're either in teens or 20s.
Immortals, maybe?
Oh boy… She wished she's just truly an idiot.
