"You know, those two have been following us for a while now..." Hailey whispered to Emily while both of them made their way to the cafeteria from the washroom.
"Yeah." Emily whispered back while she turned her head to have a peek at the two transferred students who had been following them for the past fifteen minutes.
Hailey turned to them with a plastered smile and asked, "Is there anything you need?"
Both Beck and Mary stared at each other and then at Hailey. Mary admitted that she indeed needed something as she looked at Emily, "Well... yeah. We need to speak the the princess for a moment."
Hailey pointed to Emily, "I'm assuming you're referring to her."
Mary nodded quickly.
"Well, alright then. Make it quick though. I might die out of loneliness if you two don't make it quick." Hailey said as she swirled and ran to the cafeteria. "Have fun."
Emily wanted to grab Hailey's arm, as she felt uneasy with those two, but it was too late... She had already ran away.
The three of them stared at each other awkwardly for a whole minute. "So..." Emily broke the silence. "You needed to talk to me, right?"
Mary cleared her throat and said, "Yes, that is right. We were wondering if you want to visit your homeland today, Princess."
"Wait, what?" Emily raised one of her eyebrows for a second, before shaking her head. "Okay. I guess I need to clear something up. I'm not your Princess, I'm pretty sure you got the wrong person."
"You are our Princess, from the day you're born. Your parents left you on Earth so that you're be safe." Mary explained with her hands all over the place.
From everything Mary said, the only thing that caught her ears was 'your parents'.
"My... parents?"
"Yeah, his and her majesty sent us to get you." Mary continued, "Look, I know you're still uncertain about what's going. But let me tell you what, you should follow us today and if you're REALLY not the person we're looking for, we will let you off and we will not bother you for the rest of your life. Deal?"
Although everything was ridiculously hard for Emily to process, this might be her opportunity to clarify everything that happened.
"Deal."
