The two girls grabbed the outfits and returned to the annex to change quickly. Sasaki let Ofelya go in first, preferring to avoid seeing things that were out of place. If she had protected herself a little earlier, it was not to see these obscene things now.
Ofelya came out quickly, her face a little red. She did not feel very comfortable in that dress that was molding her curves, but she knew she did not really have a choice.
"G-good, hurry up to change yourself. I don't want to be the only one to be embarrassed." She said in a small voice, waiting by the door as Sasaki entered the dark room again. She changed quickly and put on a her work clothes with a little difficulty, which was indeed very tight.
"I'm good." She said only coming out, trying not to seem disturbed by the fact that parts of her body that she had never shown were exposed to everyone's sight. And despite her seriousness, her face had turned in a scarlet color, probably due to the quick beating of her heart, which could almost be heard from outside.
"The dishes that you have to serve are usually placed on a large table at the entrance of the kitchen. You are responsible for taking orders from customers and bringing them what they have chosen to eat as the cooks have finished to prepare it. " Loptr's voice echoed in the heads of the two waitresses, a little surprised to hear him again when he was no longer with them.
"And if you're wondering how I'm doing to talk to you, know that it's because of the spells that are applied to you, the Neko-curse and the Bunny-curse. And you'll hear alerts that will let you know that a customer has come in and you are assigned to it, or a dish you have to serve is ready. Rest assured, the effect of this spell will dissipate at the end of the service." It was even more practical than she had thought. Loptr had definitely thought of everything to make his bar stand alone, without him having to intervene himself.
Immediately, alarms sounded in the heads of Ofelya and Sasaki, followed by the number of the dish they had to fetch. Not being asked, they went to the kitchen in search of what they had to take away.
A zombie with a cook's toga greeted them with a disgusting smile, indicating the plates they had to carry. Ofelya put both hands on her mouth to avoid shouting and Sasaki just lowered her eyes politely. Now that she was looking closer... All the cooks were zombies !
"I'm not sure it's very hygienic, to have dead cooks..." She commented softly, looking at Ofelya who took the dish she had to serve before going off quickly without saying anything. She probably did not want to take an other electric shock...
Sasaki did the same and left the noisy kitchen to return to the calm of the main hall, noting a change of smell. Even though it was zombies who prepared the meals, the kitchen was full of mouthwatering scents, and none of the living dead smelled sickly as one might have imagined. They felt just like humans.
The girl went to the table with the number of the plate looking at what was inside. It was a pretty cat-shaped flan, and a caramel coulis covered it all with a shiny appearance. A simple desert but well presented, and which corresponded to the atmosphere of the Neko Bar.
"Table 23... Tables 23..." She repeated to herself, looking for the right place. The order of the tables seemed a little random and she had trouble finding her way around.
"Table 23 ? It's here !" A man called out to her, having heard what she was muttering in a whisper. He had blond hair hidden under a brown leather hat, and wore glasses a little tinted. Sasaki approached the table trying to offer her best smile and not show too much shyness.
And when she tried to walk upright and make sure she had the correct posture, she took her feet in the fabric of her dress and fell forward, banging her head against the edge of the table and dropping the dish she was holding in her hands on the floor.
"Hey, are you okay ?" The man had immediately stood up and came beside her. He gently put his hand on her shoulder and looked at her worriedly. Fortunately, she was not bleeding, even though she seemed to have taken a rather violent blow.
"Y-yes, I'm fine..." she answered softly, getting up quickly, one hand on her forehead. The pain was real, to think that she was in a game... Sasaki stiffened suddenly, straightening up.
"I'm sorry ! it's my first day here, and I'm not used to it yet, and..." The girl apologized, bowing repeatedly to the client she had just bothered. She was probably going to be scolded...
"It's nothing ! I will just order another dish. What's important is that you're not hurt. My name is Omuge, can I know yours ?" The customer asked with a charming smile, which Sasaki looked at with bright eyes.
"O... Omuge ?"
