Chojusen told Rias and Kaguya what they were facing and left them on his Final Shuttle. He then put the Shuttle in his Personal Dimension and flew through the River of Time to enter the dangerous voidspace bubble with Marshadow on his back; ready for any and all surprises. He had already promised Marshadow another EXTRA EXTRA large helping of Nihility Flames for backing him up on this escapade.
Spacetime and the Void were about as restrictive to Chojusen as paper handcuffs. Thus, he could breeze right through even the most disturbed sections of these regions as long as they were naturally generated.
As Chojusen crossed the voidspace bubble, that feeling of dread only grew to an even higher level, but because his Dao Heart was comparable to Eternal Emperors, these feelings were cast away with confidence and bravery. Chojusen didn't see much after crossing the bubble, but he did hear a booming message spread out across the entire dimension.
The message said "ATTENTION!!!! We have an intruder! Assemble the army, eliminate the threat!" As the message concluded, countless auras flared to life in front of Chojusen, while the dimensional membrane separating the voidspace bubble from the River of Time behind him spawned countless formation runes.
Shit… Chojusen counted at least a million World God level auras, a thousand Daolord level auras, 10 Eternal Emperor auras, and one Achron level aura. The worst had yet to come, as Chojusen's experience as a Formation Master told him that the formation safeguarding the voidspace membrane would take him at least half and hour to solve.
The grand army summoned by the message didn't just haphazardly rush Chojusen. No, they actually grouped together to assemble a grand battle formation. Chojusen watched this with calm eyes and only gave a nod to Marshadow when he was done checking the situation. The second Marshadow touched Chojusen, their Nullsouls worked together to remain undetectable; only Autarchs with certain skills in Nihility would be able to even see Chojusen and Marshadow when they were in this state.
Chojusen needed the power of a Chaos Primordial to remain hidden in front of those below Autrachy, but by himself he could sneak in front of those below the Eternal Emperor level with no problems.
As soon as Chojusen "disappeared," the grand army stopped dead in their tracts. They almost robotically moved back to where they were before. Chojusen then flew through the dangerous voidspace dimension and travelled a couple billion kilometers before seeing a massive castle hovering above the dimension's sole planet.
The planet itself was completely empty and void of treasures or life. The castle, on the other hand, was the home of that grand army and thus likely had a ton of treasures piled up. Chojusen flew to the castle and entered with no restriction. As he did, another message boomed across the world "ATTENTION!!!! A new challenger has entered the Doomview Castle! Attendant Solejin welcome our guest and explain the rules!"
Before the message even concluded, the entrance hall where Chojusen was located at, became flooded with those previously seen World God and above level beings. However, they didn't gather into a formation, rather they stood to either side of a red carpet that led through the entirety of the castle, all the way up to a distant golden throne.
Chojusen felt the danger decrease to near non-existent even if Marshadow weren't by his side, so he cancel the Nullsoul effect of masking his presence. Suddenly, that Achron level Emperor teleported before Chojusen and gestured for Chojusen to follow him.
Chojusen walked while trying to guess what kind of odd situation he was under, but soon reached halfway through the red carpeted hallway before the Achron level Emperor stopped dead in his tracks and turned to face Chojusen. In this short walk, Chojusen discovered that all these "people," including the Achron level Emperor, were not really alive; they were golem-like constructs.
The Achron Golem didn't have any emotions show as it said "Young man, congratulations on making it past us and reaching the Doomview Castle. By right of way, you have passed the preliminary screening. Not many have come as far as you have; most usually just die to our grand formation outside the castle, while those that managed to pass the screening usually do so with Hegemon levels of strength."
Even though it was just a construct, the golem possessed sentience and adult levels of intelligence, so after completing what must have been a mandatory greeting it had to give to all those that made it this far, the golem snorted at Chojusen while continuing to say "Managing to get through by sneaking around? Pathetic! Count your lucky stars that the next couple of tests are dependant on your cultivation level so you might not die!"
The construct pointed in front of itself and a large bronze colored throne manifested from nothing. The Construct didn't turn back to Chojusen only saying "Here's your first real test! Sit on the throne and pick one of the three paths of cultivation to be tested on."
Chojusen didn't immediately go sit on the throne like the golem told him to. Instead he reflected on what knowledge he had gained since coming here. Apparently, this was some sort of testing grounds? But the screening alone forced people to push through an army of World Gods, Daolords, and even Emperors. Yet the moment he passed the screening he would be tested based on his cultivation level? Something seemed out of place.
Chojusen stopped dwelling on things he didn't have answers for and turned to study the bronze throne. His Artifacting skills were already at the Omega level, so he only needed a couple minutes to understand the inner workings of this device. The bronze throne was made of three channels, these channels would send him into a world to take tests, presumably of one of the three paths he had chosen; honestly, it wasn't that advanced as a treasure.
Chojusen then turned to the golden throne at the end of the hallway and noticed that it was made almost exactly like the bronze throne in front of him. The only difference being, the potency of threat coming from the three paths he could chose; it would be the same test, just harder by several (hundred) degrees.
This got Chojusen thinking 'perhaps there were three thrones for each of the three paths.' However, there were only two thrones he could see for now. Regardless of how hard these test might be, he was sure he could pass even the hardest test, as his cultivation while short, was still ridiculous.
He made his way up to the bronze throne and sat down. The bronze throne's treasure spirit came out and asked him to pick from either the "Ki, Divine, or Heartforce" paths. Chojusen chose to start off with Heartforce as it was his least accomplished path of cultivation.
When Chojusen said "Heartforce," the treasure spirit teleported him to another dimension. In this new dimension, Chojusen could not move at all and had to resist all manner of illusions with his Dao Heart. The "test" started out with Demonheart illusions giving him all his wishes and desires, and these were just the weakest of the illusions he had to resist; they targeted his greed and lust.
Above the Demonheart illusions were pain stimulating illusions; something he was borderline immune towards after cultivating the Daoheart technique. Naturally, this didn't hinder Chojusen at all, thus he continued on to the last set of illusions.
These last set of illusions were like the opposite of Demonheart illusions; instead of showing him everything he could ever want, they took away everything that gave his life value. These illusions actually managed to shake Chojusen's Dao Heart; albeit just barely.
Chojusen saw his wives cheat on him and leave him. He saw his family abandon him and turn him in to an outcast. He lived through a life of being a crippled cultivator, losing all his powers. There was even on illusion where the system, quite convincingly, explained that he was just a prisoner of the one true god, damned to suffered endless lifetimes of pain.
The one illusion out of all these that managed to shake Chojusen was when he was forced to watch all of his partners get raped, but had no power to stop the perpetrator. In that powerless state, his immature heartforce started sparking with fury and wrath, while the formation conducting the test and his Dao Heart worked to restrain him. In an almost cyclical fashion, his emotions became more and more negative while being forced to watch as even closing his eyes would not stop the images from appearing in his mind.
Eventually, something within Chojusen snapped and the world became silent. All the illusions intruding his mind were extinguished and a small world of heartforce began to expand from Chojusen's body. This heartforce world slowly grew and grew in size until finally, it touched the barriers of the heartforce testing world and instantly shattered that dimension; causing Chojusen to reappear once more in the Doomview Castle.
When he came out of the testing zone, his eyes were filled with murder as he recalled those horrible scenes he was forced to watch, and the Heartforce world he created kept on expanding subconsciously. When he finally regained his calm, the heartforce world had surpassed the range of a Chaosworld. Though he had been successfully riled up, Chojusen's life was never at any risk; his Emperor level Dao Heart was just way too stable.
