Seven whole years after Chojusen started the journey to the Voidstar Gate passed, and it seemed like the fortune he foresaw was getting closer and closer to him. Until one day, the Shuttle spirit manifested in front of Chojusen nervously waiting for him to come out of his meditation. It wouldn't dare disrupt its master's training, so it could only hope that Chojusen didn't go into deep meditation for several thousand years.
The shuttle spirit's cause of concern was unfounded, as less than a second after it appeared before Chojusen with infinite angst, Chojusen awoke from his torturous Daoheart training. Chojusen looked at the spirit and asked "Is there a problem?"
"Problem? No, of course not… it's just. We passed a planet a while ago that had treasures I can use to evolve!"
"Oh?" Chojusen used his Numeracy Dao, and could see that the source of his tremendous good fortune had indeed been passed. He turned the ship around and was guided to the planet that the shuttle spirit was talking about. In less than a minute, they were faced with a lifeless blood orange planet.
Chojusen descended onto the planet and converted the shuttle into its palm-sized form. Then, before he could start divining where the good fortune came from, the staff spirit came out and told Chojusen a similar tale as the shuttle spirit; it seemed like this planet held quite a few goodies…
Chojusen had the help of Numeracy and his treasure spirits guide him and eventually, he and Kaguya were standing before a massive cave system. The cave system had billions of different paths and the planet was made of goldstone earth; a material only Daolords could break, but generally wouldn't as the goldstone was practically useless to them.
Chojusen would have to follow the cave system the normal way for now, as even in his Chaosfiend Scale Mail form, he would not be able to crush apart the divine earth. Still, the Omega Numeracy Dao was not to be underestimated, and Chojusen easily followed a path deep into the cave system.
He made it a couple thousand miles underground before stopping a couple feet from the end of the road. Now that he was much closer to the source of the fortune, Chojusen's Numeracy skills devised that there was actually a hint of danger to him if he crossed over to the piles of treasure before him, while the Formation Avatar screamed at Chojusen that they were facing an extremely complex deception formation.
Danger? Formation? These were mere trivial obstacles to Chojusen. Danger was irrelevant to him as he had Marshadow; could a random planet really have something more dangerous than a Chaos Primordial? As for Formations? With Marshadow's power and his Formation Avatar approaching Omega levels, no formation would be a problem in the long run; even if he was caught in a trapping formation, he could leave even the worst case after breaking through to the Omega level.
Chojusen told Kaguya of the potential "danger" in front of them and shrugged it off just as easily as he did. She was more than clear on how ridiculous her man was, so even in the face of certain death, she would dive right in, if it was alongside Chojusen.
Chojusen gave her a nod and the two crossed the deception formation. The next moment they were in a completely different space and a hundred or so new faces turned to face Chojusen and Kaguya. Judging by their auras the weakest of these people were at the World God level while the strongest was a Daolord of the fourth step, though most were either Daolords of the first or second step.
One of the Daolords turned to Chojusen and sighed. He said "An Ancestral Immortal? How'd he even make it here?"
Another Dalord said "Seems like we're going to stay here for a while longer..."
One of the Daolords seemed to have lost it, this Daolord said "No, no, no, no… NO!!! It's been over eighty thousand chaos cycles since I entered this god forsaken place!!! If I don't get out soon, I'll have to do my Daomerge here!!!" He went berserk and started sending attacks that could ruin weak Chaosworlds towards the formation barrier keeping him in this dimension.
Chojusen tried to ignore this Daolord, but he was dishing out the strongest attacks he had seen up to date; the Autarch's attack on Marshadow was trillions of times more powerful than this Daolord's, but Chojusen couldn't comprehend attacks at that level yet. Once he was acclimated to the Daolords fury, he managed to turn away and scope out the scene.
Here in this hidden dimension, there was a titanic formation trapping all those that crossed over the deception formation. This formation was a pain for even Chojusen to figure out, but he could accomplish it even without an Omega Formation Dao; it would just take a little while.
In this trapping formation, there were two exits; both being visible. The first exits was to the place where Chojusen came from; the cave system. While the other exit had a truly ridiculous amount of treasures piled up.
From what Chojusen could see, there were several treasure that even Eternal Emperor's might want. Firefly Sand, Quantum Water, Spacetime Fruits, Yangpure Mushrooms… The list went on and on...
In the middle of the trapping formation, there was even a little message; presumably made from the creator of this place. The message was scribbled quite messily on a piece of immortal paper, it read "HAHAHAHA, This is the end of the road for me. Who would have thought that a puny Daolord would come after my life after failing his Daomerge. I still regret to this day antagonizing that forsaken Eighthearts. Even though my truesoul has been cursed with his final suicide blow to damnation, I still have some time to set up a legacy here.
My Dao is one of formations, so you best believe I'll only except a talented formations master as the inheritor of my technique! For anyone else that wishes to learn from me? Screw em! If they can't even solve this easy Space Revolving Formation, they shouldn't have come!"
"Easy to solve?" Chojusen couldn't help but narrow his eyes as he read this. Perhaps he would find it easy to resolve, since his Dao was close to becoming perfect, but others? Not so much…
He turned his attention to the people in the dimension, but because he was a puny Ancestral Immortal, none of the people here gave a damn about him; they wouldn't even bother to face him. Chojusen ignored these people and went over to the exit clearly showing the various treasures the creator of this formation left behind for his "inheritor."
The Formation Chojusen would have to solve to enter this treasure room was several degree more difficult than for leaving back to the treasure room. But, it was still a piece of cake for him to solve. He merely sat down for a couple hours and figured out the key to leaving. While the exit to the cave system was being obstructed by a space revolving formation, this formation to the treasure room had space, time, and the void revolving to protect it from intruders.
Chojusen's Void Dao had long ago reached the Omega level as it was very easy to comprehend; Void being similar to Space, Time, and Nihility. Thus Chojusen created three masses of Space, Time, and Void energies to swirl around him and Kaguya and they crossed over to the treasure room with no resistance.
The utter easy by which they traveled through the formation completely destroyed the minds of the other trapped inhabitants of the hidden dimension. What the fuck was this? The two weakest people to arrive actually solved the much harder to breach formation and directly went to the treasure room?
There was a Daolord in this trapping formation that had his primary Dao being the Dao of Formations. He had been stuck here for several chaos cycles with no idea as to how he was suppose to solve these formations, and now an Ancestral Immortal figure it out in less than a day? Shouldn't he just killed himself? His Dao was obviously a complete failure…
As the poor Daolord, majoring in Formations contemplated suicide, the rest of the Daolords started discussing amongst themselves.
"No, that's impossible!"
"B-but, h-he clearly sol-ved it..."
"No there must be another way. Think, damn it! THINK!!!"
"What if… he didn't solve it. What if the Emperor who set this place up left behind keys for his descendants?"
"Yeah that's a swell guess you made there, but it's been too long. Why wouldn't the Emperor's descendants come down to receive his legacy earlier?"
"... You never know. Maybe this emperor only left behind the legacy to a descendant that specialized in the Dao of Formantions and only now one has appeared. Or maybe, the emperor was one of those creates born of Chaos and has very few kinsmen. He could have been from a race that only births members every couple chaos cycles..."
"Yeah that must be it! It must be a key! There is no way I'll admit that an Ancestral Immortal can solve such a grand formation in mere minutes..." The Formation Dao Daolord calmed down a bit after pledging his hope on this presumption.
"Wait. That guy was an Ancestral Immortal..."
"What's your point?"
"Aren't those beings born of Chaos born at the World God level..."
"..." Oh shit… The Daolords kept brainstorming what was happening, while Chojusen and Kaguya entered the "Treasure room."
