Chapter 108 - Obnoxious Alien

After becoming a Celestial Immortal, Chojusen's soul had a massive leap in power once again; especially after being nurtured with countless kilograms of nihility and elemental essence. As a Celestial Immortal, he also unlocked access to the second part of the book of Dao Origin.

Now he could see all the Daos ever conceived up to the True Immortal level; the stage just above the Celestial Immortal. The only thing the book said about continuing cultivation was to master higher and higher levels of the Dao and gather more energy. What Chojusen used to become a Celestial Immortal was nothing but a "normal" Dao, but to become a True Immortal, he would need to step up his Dao to the Grand Dao level.

This was resolved in just a second, as Chojusen's Dao of Nihility was well above the normal Dao level; it was even above the Grand Dao level. Just displaying his Dao on the Grand Dao level allowed Chojusen's Jindan to expand in size to hold the energy of a True Immortal. However, before Chojusen could start yet another run across the zone of nihility to make more elemental essence, his Jindan expanded again.

When he checked the book of Dao Origin, he saw that the third and fourth sections had been opened. The second section opened when his Jindan expanded in size the first time, signifying his advancement to True Immortal. The second time it expanded, it was because the universe had recognized Chojusen's Dao of Nihility to be above the Grand Dao level and at the Heavenly Dao level. The second advancement also formalized Chojusen's position as an Ancestral Immortal.

Now all he needed was to fill up his reserves and he would truly be at that level. Now that he was technically an Ancestral Immortal, the book of Dao Origin showed Chojusen the Daos of all those up to the World God level. He also learned that liquid Chaos or "Chaos nectar" was something he could use to refill his energy faster than elemental essence.

He tried his hand at converting the Nihility around him into Chaos nectar, but had pretty depressing results. He could only create a couple drops after converting millions of kilometers of nihility into pure Chaos. However, these few drops were amazing when he absorbed them; they were dozens of times more potent than elemental essence.

Chojusen didn't feel like wasting any more of his time focusing solely on creating Chaos nectar, so he split his body in half with divine energy and had a clone create some on his behalf. While the clone went off to create more resources for him, he marvelled at the World God level Daos. His own Dao might have reached the Heavenly level, but it sure wasn't quite up to par with the World God level.

You see, to reach the World God level, Chojusen would have to plan out a complete version of his own Dao of Nihility. The Heavenly level of the Dao was the absolute pinnacle cultivators had access to when sensing the Omniverse's set of Ultimate Omega Daos and only through experimentation and experience could they slowly figure out a way towards them. All the while they would be completely blind as to how exactly they should proceed.

However, Chojusen had the book of Dao Origin! He didn't have this set back and could compare his own Daos to those of everyone in existence as well the Ultimate Omega Daos themselves! Still, even though he had a way to judge and compare his own Dao to perfection, he still had to work to developing his own Dao.

Chojusen flipped the pages of the book of Dao Origin and found the section for Nihility Daos. Every page had the signature of complete Daos of one World God level cultivator, and Chojusen could study the insights that cultivator had on the Dao of Nihility.

The first cultivator, World God Ansin; he had a Dao of Nihility that was far from complete, but it looked towards the essence of nothing as "empty." The second cultivator, "Nihility is boundless." The third, "corrosive," the fourth, "the end..."

Chojusen kept looking through the Daos of all these World Gods and instantly found the quintessence of their direction towards the Ultimate Omega Dao of Nihility. The first couple billion World Gods were easy to figure out, as the Daos were ranked by the book from least strong to most strong.

However, after that, the World Gods' Daos started getting a bit crazy. The first couple billion had "Weak Daos" then a couple hundred million had "Strong Daos," the last couple million left had "Supreme Daos." These terms of "weak," "strong," and "supreme" were all relative to the ultimate apex of Daos.

After the "Supreme Daos," World Gods started to fuse and integrate multiple Supreme Daos together. Fusion? It was already impressive to form supreme Daos that had a direct correlation to the Ultimate Omega…

"Hey."

'Holy Shit!' Chojusen was in the middle of trying to devise how to fuse Supreme Daos to make up his own, when suddenly a voice startled him. He had been in this state of meditation for several years now, on top of the century he experienced torturing himself to temper his Dao Heart; the last thing he expected, was to hear the sound of another person.

Chojusen turned around and found a humanoid alien standing a couple meters away from him. 'What the fuck? How long has he been standing there? How come I didn't notice him?' All these questions and more surfaced on Chojusen's mind, but he stopped thinking when the alien said "You… you've been standing there for seven years now… Why have you been looking at your hands for all this time? Its like super creepy, my guy."

Chojusen had no idea how he was able to understand this weird alien; he certainly didn't recognize the language it used. However, all the words just made sense when his brain processed them. Chojusen said "Huh? I'm just trying to become a Daolord and leave this place."

"Become a Daolord? You aren't even a World God and you want to become a Daolord?" The alien start to laugh? It didn't sound like human laughter, but given its jolly expressions it should be laughing. The alien said "What Dao have you been developing to become a Daolord?"

"Nihility. It's the only thing I can study here..." A lie, but Chojusen wouldn't let anyone know about the Book of Dao Origin. The system told him that Akashic Records could only be seen and/or binded to one person within a plane of existence. To others, the book wouldn't even register with their senses.

"Alright kid, show me your Dao of Nihility and if it's any good, I might give you a way out of here."

"What? You're a Daolord?"

"Nope~"

"Emperor?"

"You're getting warmer~"

"Whelp, I don't know what comes after that so, I can't guess any higher."

"I'm an Autarch! Tsk, tsk. I make multiverses for god's sake! When will I ever get some recognition?" The alien shed a single tear and made praying gestures to the direction above himself and Chojusen.

"Um… Ok?" Chojusen didn't bother with this weirdo and just started activating his Dao of Nihility. Almost immediately, his figure started to fade from existence and melt into the surrounding zone of nothing. Then layers of nihility started to compact and surround Chojusen making him completely undetectable; even the "Autarch" in front of Chojusen was somewhat impressed with his Dao.

"Alright kid, come back out."

Chojusen stopped hiding in the Nihility and looked at the alien with eyes of expectation. Right now all he wanted to do was leave this god forsaken place and link his personal dimension with this plane, to bring someone from the lower planes over to his side.

The alien said "You sure are a ball of surprises. Ever since I detected someone undergoing a "Celestial Tribulation," I've been looking at you just stand there. I won't ask how you've managed to improve your Dao to such hilarious levels in such a short time, BUT, I will ask you how you got in here."

The alien emphasized the words "Celestial Tribulation," because even he could not comprehend why anyone would have to go through such a horrifying tribulation. It must be understood, Chojusen was hit with thunder comparable to Chaos thunder for the last bolt of his thunder tribulation. Chaos thunder was Dao thunder produced by World Gods and Chojusen still managed to combat it; all that while till being only a Void Immortal.

Chojusen said "Ascension from a lower plane."

"Oh? I guess that means you ended up here, this space of nihility, from the time you ascended?"

"Right."

"Good! You seem to be pretty competent, how about I take you to make domain and you can work your way up from there." The Autarch was glad to hear that Chojusen came from a lower plane; that meant he had no affiliations in this plane, since he was locked up in the zone of Nihility since he got here.

"Sure, as long as I get to leave this place, I wouldn't really care about where it is I end up."

"Alright… Say, you've seen that stone tablet in the center of this zone right?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Why haven't you tried to study it yet? I mean, your Dao is the Dao of Nihility, right?"

"I tried to study it once, but my soul almost faded from existence."

"Yeah, obviously if you studied that tablet without at least passing the Celestial Tribulation and forming a Jindan, you're soul would collapse. It's a friggin Autarch legacy."

"Uh, I don't know what that is… and you keep repeating it..."

"Oh my god! Just know that Autarchs are the next level above Eternal Emperors. GO STUDY THE TABLET NOW THAT I'M GIVING YOU THE CHANCE, ELSE I'LL LEAVE YOU BEHIND!!!"

This eccentric alien was really starting to get on Chojusen's nerves; he was really obnoxious. But, he would be that way out of this hellhole, so Chojusen didn't complain; if he, did and the Autarch acted against him, he would probably die without knowing why, though.
