Chojusen teleported through the Nihility and arrived right next to the stone tablet that once almost killed him. With his current insights into the Dao of Nihility, he could teleport through it with even greater range than with space.
Chojusen looked at the stone tablet and began to read its contents. The tablet said "Oi! This stone tablet here is in commemoration of my ascension to Autarchy! My name is Dawei and my Dao is that of Nihility! Should anyone manage to make their way into my Nullgod Domain and find this tablet, they can try their luck at taking my legacy. Of course, you must pass my test, which is… to read through the entire tablet! Every word captures millions or even billions of insights I've gotten into the Dao of Nihility over the past billion or so chaos cycles, so good luck trying to read through the tablet; you'll need it! P.S. I'm standing behind you..."
Chojusen turned around and found that alien standing less than a foot away from him, making a funny face. Chojusen asked "You are Dawei?"
"Nope. I just thought it would be funny to spook you~" The bored Autarch decided to play a prank on Chojusen and wrote in that last bit, before Chojusen started reading the tablet.
"Oh…" Chojusen gave the alien Autarch an odd glare and focused on reading the rest of the stone tablet. The legacy just listed off a bunch of random words. "Alpha, begin, first, infinity, continuous, waves, ..." Chojusen understood most of the words, but some were unreadable to him as his insights to the Dao of Nihility were nowhere near the Autarch's level. Whenever he reached a word he couldn't understand, Chojusen would turn to his book of Dao Origin and match the word with the insights of Supreme Nihility Daos.
The Autarch watched as Chojusen started looking at his hands again, but he couldn't see the book of Dao Origin. He just went over to the other Chojusen — the one that was still out and about, collecting chaos nectar — and started to pester him.
The other Chojusen was kind of bored collecting Chaos nectar. Since it was a sort of avatar, it shared all its experiences with the other Chojusen, thus all this time, as his Dao of Nihility improved, so too did the Chojusen who was tasked with collecting Chaos Nectar. Naturally, with a higher insight into the Dao of Nihility, Chojusen could create more Chaos nectar out of less nihility and at a faster rate.
He noticed long ago that when enough nectar was collected, they would fused into a solid cube. Each cube of chaos would hold about 99,000 drops of chaos nectar, and by now Chojusen had amassed a couple million cubes of pure solid chaos. He didn't mind chatting with the alien Autarch as he could learn more about this world by interacting with him.
The Autarch may be a silly prankster, but at least he shared information with Chojusen about the world. Chojusen learned many important things like where he was and what was going on on the cosmic scale.
At the moment, Chojusen was in the Nullgod Domain of another Autarch which he already learned about. This Autarch however, was a dear friend to the alien in front of Chojusen, who eventually revealed his identity as Autarch Libo. Libo told Chojusen that his friend was off in another realmverse — or multiverse; kind of the same thing, really — looking for some special material.
Libo had grown bored of waiting for his friend, so he entered Dawei's Domain to play a prank on him, but before leaving, he discovered Chojusen undergoing a Celestial Tribulation. After explaining how the Autarch came to find Chojusen, he explained some things about where he would be taking Chojusen after he finished with the tablet.
Libo said he would take Chojusen to the Staffgod Realmverse, a multiverse Libo himself created to be the command center for his organization and home. As an Autarch, Libo said he had to find something to do to not get bored; he had after all already reached the absolute peak of power possible for this plane and had a real unlimited lifespan. Taking care of a Realmverse and sect, would more than scratch his itch for not staying bored all the time.
Now, Chojusen would be taken to his Realmverse and he could train over there as a member of the Staffgod Sect. Currently, there was nothing to do aside from train. There were no wars and no one would pick a fight with an Autarch; not unless they had the backing of an Autarch themselves.
Chojusen's luck was truly ridiculous. He not only got to skip three planes, but once he reached the penultimate plane of existence, he landed straight in the arms of a friendly neighborhood Autarch. And even after "having" to comply with this Autarch, he would be living a life of luxury. Chojusen didn't know now, but being a member of an Autarch's sect was something literally countless people would kill for.
Chojusen kept talking to Libo while he created more and more cubes of Chaos. Eventually, they finished covering everything Chojusen didn't know about, and Libo started to ask Chojusen about his home in the lower planes. As an Autarch, he had come across several ascenders from lower planes and even befriended as many as he could; he knew very well, how frighteningly talented they were to manage an ascension.
These people that came from lower planes didn't have any affiliations, so Autarchs would scramble to get them on their side. Many of the talented ascenders would become Eternal Emperors or even Autarchs, so they would be friends for life; having companions that could live alongside you for eternity was one of the few things these Emperors and Autarchs wanted.
…
Chojusen and the Autarch kept talking for years until one day, the Chojusen that was studying the book of Dao Origin and learning Dawei's legacy finally finished his studies. He managed to understand all the words to the stone tablet and could finally read the legacy skills.
[Nullgod's Nullsoul: Soul of Nihility, restricted and constrained by nothing at all. Damage to the Soul and True Soul becomes impossible as nothing is there. Heartforce beware, this is the bane of its existence.
Nihility Invulnerable Form: Nothing is truly everywhere. It was there at the start, it will be there at the end. It is superpositioned atop all matter and is omnipresent. Convert the body to Nihility and it will stay immortal, even after the end.
Alpha Strike: Before anything, even Chaos, there was nothing. Nothing is the Alpha. Nothing is the start. As the start nothing is everything and faster than anything. Strike with impunity and impossible speed. Speed so fast nothing can stand in its way.
Omega End: After everything, even Destruction and Entropy, there is nothing. Nothing is the Omega. Nothing is the end. As the end, nothing works against everything, and anything in its way crumbles to less than dust. Corrode the strength of all, defend against anything, all power is meaningless.]
Chojusen memorized the skills contained in the stone tablet as well as how to train them, which also caused the system to record them down for later analysis. He was amazed with the creativity behind these four skills. According to what he learned while talking to Autarch Libo, two techniques were protective in nature, one was speed and movement oriented, and the last was both offensive and defensive.
The Nullsoul technique was about as overpowered as soul protective techniques could get; it literally converted his soul into nihility, so every attempt at attacking his soul and true soul would just fade through nothing, unless the attack possessed a Dao superior to Chojusen.
Invulnerable Forms were actually not that super rare; at least not when compared to the Nullsoul technique. However, the Invulnerable Form for Nihility, took the cake, as it described Nihility quite accurately. Nihility was one of the few types of energy that were omnipresent; even if a tear in reality appeared from an overpowered attack, nihility would still be present. What does this mean? Chojusen could turn his divine body into Nihility and avoid damage, even better than with his Void Cloak; especially now that his Nihility Dao had developed several Supreme Daos.
Alpha Strike sounded like it was an attack — and it was — but it was primarily a movement technique to travel at ridiculous speeds. Chojusen hadn't practiced the technique yet, but he was confident that if mastered, he could easily move around at several hundred times the speed of light.
Omega End was actually the only pure attack/defense skill in the entire inheritance. However, it more than made up for quantity with quality. The essence behind the technique was to erase all power. Erase the power behind an attack coming your way. Erase the power behind the defense of an opponent to deliver a direct critical hit.
Now that Chojusen finished reading up on the stone table and committed its contents to his memory, he teleported over to his other body and had it fused back with him. Thereafter, Autarch Libo looked at Chojusen with exaggerated disappointment and said "Wow, you sure are slow… It took you thirteen years to finish studying this lousy stone tablet?"
Chojusen narrowed his eyes and thought to himself 'Thirteen years to memorize and comprehend an Autarch's legacy and I'm the one who's slow? What the fuck?'
Libo added fuel to the fire and said "Cheer up little boy, I'll be taking you to a cool and hip new place~"
"..." 150 years old is still a little boy? Ok…
Well, to Chojusen 150 or so years might seem like a lot, but the Autarch's life had been kindled for Quintillions of years, so 150 indeed didn't sound too impressive.
Libo poked a tear through the zone of Nihility and took Chojusen out to the outside void. He then took out a small flying vessel and set sail for his Realmverse. It was pretty far away needing a couple more years before they arrived, so Chojusen had a good deal of time to practice while on route.
