Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

"So Mordreda, now have you any idea on how strong your uncle is?" He asked, a slight grin on his face. Mordreda shook her head. "To be completely honest, you should at least be at half a Deity's power, in my estimate."

Dominus shook his head. "What I used is only around an eighth of Deity's power. In short, your estimate is far off, even when considering my full power."

Airah and Mordreda took a few moments to understand what Dominus just said. "S-so uncle... Are you saying that y-you're more powerful than a Deity!?"

Now here was the problem. Dominus' grin widened slightly. This however, was unidentifiable. Why? That's because Dominus' changes in expression would seem minimal. This is because of Dominus' habit of not being expressionless. A natural poker face if you may.

Airah, who was setting up dinner at the coffee table finished and bowed. Dominus knew it was normal for Airah and Mordreda to eat together. He smiled, seeing her gesture. "Airah, join us. Don't think I don't know that you and Mordreda are sworn sisters, although you show a master-servant relationship publicly."

Airah froze and Mordreda, who was sitting down, had her mouth agape. Dominus closed his eyes and now, his smile was obvious. "First, I have no intention of telling your parents. Next, I am more than confident that both Arthur and Tako won't have problems with this. Lastly, I myself support this. Keep that last one in mind, both of you."

Dominus opened his eyes and a fairly serious expression. "I'm aware of the repercussions of this becoming public, but after knowing that, I recommend that you at least speak to this about your parents, Mordreda."

The group ate in silence afterwards, the two girls in deep contemplation, especially after what Dominus said about revealing this to Arthur and Tako."

...

"Uncle Dominus, what are your thoughts, I mean, I might get married after all." Mordreda questioned Dominus, knowing of his hidden overprotective nature, added to that, Dominus is the person she's closest to, second only to Airah.

Dominus raised his scarf to hide his face at that question. "I've met him, and he has our approval... For now, at least. I have to hand it to them this time, they didn't make a bad choice."

"Erm... What's that supposed to mean?"

Dominus shrugged at the question. Throughout the night, Mordreda kept asking him about Third, in which he either nodded, shook his head, said yes, no or just shrugged, therefore not giving her a proper answer. He even used hand language that no one of this World should have understood.

....................................................

Draco looked forward into the palace roof as he remained perched on Dominus' shoulder. They both exploded into dust, only to reappear on the palace roof.

They both watched as the platinum colored armor of the troops in Mordreda's entourage paraded into the city, heading straight for the palace.

Dominus stared at a certain patch of shadow near him. "Come out. No shadow is that dark this time of day." He said in a cold, flat voice, saying a random excuse of how he saw the man underneath a reflective blanket.

The man was stunned. How was he seen? But now isn't the time for that. He jumped away as soon as he stood up, throwing an arrowhead shaped throwing knife.

Dominus snapped and the knife stopped ten inches away from Dominus' brow. The man? Pink colored ooze flowed out from his nose. His brain, liquefied.

"Now all of you, come out unless you don't wish for a fast death." Multiple shadows either jumped away while throwing projectiles or creating smokescreens or even casting magic while some launched themselves at him, only to have themselves be instantaneously dismembered of every limb of their bodies, be it their fingers, their toes or even their rods for the males.

...

"Well Arta!? Are my clothes fine? Is my hair neatly done? Do I have something on my face?" Third asked, worried, incredibly worried. Arta laughed at this. "You're fine, you look great Third. I almost forgot that you for some reason, have an innate fear of girls and women who aren't members of your family."

Seeing that Arta was laughing, he was annoyed. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with being scared! What if she's some spoiled brat or maybe an overly annoying chatterbox!? I mean, I might get married to her after all, why should I not be scared, worried or nervous at the least!?"

Hearing Third's response, Arta laughed once more. "Well I for one heard she was a divine beauty! If she is, then I must say, you are lucky to get this chance!"
