Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

Elayna ignored him and just kept hugging her knees inside the lamp.

Nadir seeing this action, was infuriated. "You... Do you not have even a sliver of gratitude to your savior!?"

Elayna humphed. "Savior? If you had let me reach Paradeisos, my Master would have found me by now! In what manner are you helping?"

Nadir grinned viciously. "Clearly, I am superior to your 'Master', or did I not make that clear? So, shouldn't you just give yourself to me?" This was said with lust filling Nadir's eyes

Elayna merely said: "My Master wouldn't be a bastard as pathetic and weak as you." and this was filled with disdain.

Nadir just laughed this off. He was too confident. Who would even be capable of fighting him, someone who's slaughtered twenty Universal Supremes in one battle?

Dominus had two greatswords strapped at the back of his hips. His sword, Verum, and Sepulcros' Libera.

A green shadow appeared behind him.

"Don't act rashly. You'd get killed if you go now, your body is completely unstable."

Dominus had a dejected look on his face as he replied. "No need to warn me Sepulcros, I know my own body best. Dammit. I'll just send a projection even if it'll slow my awakening."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elayna looked down unto her own core, staring at the dust-like remains, a newborn core beside it.

"Don't worry Master, I shall endure until you find me so I can present to you our child." She whispered quietly to herself.

She sighed as she waited alone, believing that her Master would come. Waiting, waiting, waiting... Waiting alone

Mordreda sat at the balcony of her room, Airah combing her hair.

"Airah, what do you think of Third?" she tilted her head in order to look at her best friend behind her.

"Hmm... I'd say he's quite a good man but did you see his reaction to you the moment he saw you? I'm pretty sure he could barely resist pouncing on you." she replied smirking, pushing her hair to the side.

Mordreda blushed as she thought of the handsome young man who was red till the ears while walking beside her.

Airah grinned seeing her reaction and said in a teasing voice, "It seems that this engagement is settled, looking at your reaction, my lady."

"N-no! I... I-it's not like that! It's not like I don't like him but... I don't think I love him... Not yet." she said, looking down, clenching her skirt and blushing harder.

Airah's grin intensified, seeing her best friend's reaction.

"Ohh~ so you DO like him! Hehe, my little best friend's falling in love~" Airah said teasingly, a smug look on her face.

"T-then how about Roland's retainer, Arta? He was sending you lascivious gazes earlier and... You were... Sending them back."

Her eyes widened in realization and Airah just just harrumphed, raising her chest up, causing her fairly large breasts to bounce, a smile plastered across her face.

"N-no w-w-way!! Y-y two, d-d-did you just s-somehow mutually understand each other!?" she asked, almost shouting

Airah nodded, her white teeth showing with her smile.

Mordreda sighed and both continued teasing each other until the moon was high up into the sky.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Third you lucky bastard! To have such a beauty as a prospective fiancee! And from the looks of things, she likes you as well!"

Allen, Arta's cousin, who has the same surname but comes from a branch family said, a carefree smile on his face.

They were in the palace's 'secret' tavern. Only a few nobles knew and had access to this place and was frequented by Second, Third, Arta and Allen.

"Dammit Allen! She's beautiful alright! Way too beautiful! I almost pounced at her then and there!"

Third replied he hand on his forehead as he reached for his wine cup.

Both Allen and Arta were his knights, Arta his right hand and Allen his left.

Second, who was beside Third joked, but this joke had a feeling of seriousness to it. "If you did, I bet the old man would come out of nowhere and strangle you!"

"O-old man? Y-you mean Sir Dominus? Why would he do that!?" Arta was shocked as he couldn't imagine someone as cool and mysterious as Domimus would do that.

"Hn. So... How do I say this... Right! Dominus is Queen Tako Pendragon's older brother. So is Draco, the dragon with Dominus earlier."

The trio's eyes widened as they understood. And with that, Second continued. "Yes, he'll become your uncle."

"Oh and one more thing. Mordreda has a Demonic Liger as her mount. You have a Winged Unicorn. What do you think their children would look like?"

Everyone in the hall who heard this shuddered, knowing how he keeps talking about animal fusions once he gets started. That was his favorite lesson when it came to Dominus' teachings after all.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a steamy marble room...

Three heavenly beauties were dipping in a shallow, rectangular, clear pool.

These were Erea, Vanessa and Aill, the court mage and Vanessa's closest friend.

"Well Erea, what do you think about Mordreda?" Aill broke the silence, her smile brighter then the sun.

Erea was taken by surprise and took a few moments to contemplate on the question.

"I have no problems with her as of now, Aunt Aill, it also seems that Third likes her, that pervert." she replied, a smile forming on her face.

Vanessa giggled while replying.

"It's obvious that he likes Mordreda. It seems that the like each other, now all we need is HIS approval."

Erea and Aill both had curious looks on their faces.

"His? Whose approval? Somebody who can influence the entire marriage!? The hidden person!?" both asked simultaneously.

Vanessa nodded.

"The person to please is none other than Mordreda's uncle. The cause of the two kingdom's alliance. Dominus Dei, your father's, your teacher's and my teacher."

Erea and Aill's eyes widened, much like their mouths which were now shaped as 'O's.

"No way!! The princess is his niece!?"

"S-sir Dominus might become my uncle!?"
