Two figures stood in the rain facing each other in the barren wasteland, one, slouched and panting, almost kneeling, remaining upright only thanks to the scimitar in his hands, his plate armor, damaged, no, torn to shreds would be a better way to describe it, as there were purple metal pieces all over the place!
His purple hair was dyed red as he used his bloody left hand to sweep his hair to the side, his eyes desolate and hopeless, anger, clear in his eyes.
"So... It appears that this is my end... Hah... How pathetic, I wasn't even able to see my own child at least once... Well, that matters not. Hopefully my successor takes good care of her..."
He finally fell to his knees, exhausted. His opponent, no matter how you look at it, could only be considered a carbon copy of him!
He had a cruel grin on his face, his green spiky hair brought down by the rain. His green and black plate armor tyrannically pulsing. "Is that all you have to offer me, Spectrus? I had expected far more from one HIS successors. Well, as you said, you are indeed quite pathetic. So, unless you have other last words, die." Spectrus stood up with great effort.
"You've won this one, Sepulcros. This is just one battle however, not the entire war." Sepulcros raised his head as he glared at Spectrus with contempt.
Sepulcros pointed his left palm towards Spectrus and fired a black beam, destroying Spectrus AND the surrounding few kilometers.
...................................................
Dominus opened his eyes, recalling the dream. He muttered under his breath "Why did I dream about Spectrus...? This only happens when something or someone related to him will be affected. What's more, Tako was stressed in this one... Hm. If something does happen, then I'll finally have something to do again."
He fixed his position on the thick tree branch he was sleeping on, his golden, spiky hair swaying with the wind. He looked down on his chest two find two pendants, a golden diamond shaped one with a diamond shaped sapphire at it's center and a circular animal eye-like pendant, well, at least that's what the circular gem on it looks like, it was chained to his neck and nothing more after all. That was when he noticed it.
Nearly completely hidden underneath his scarlet-red collared cloak was a tiny scarlet dragon snout. He smiled under his scarf, whose color was the exact same as his cloak's.
"Wake up Draco, it's morning." The small dragon grunted as it left the confines of his cloak, it's eyes as blue his. He waited for it to sober up before allowing it to perch itself on his shoulder. After it did that, he jumped down and landed on the ground a few hundred meters below.
"So Draco, what do you think?" The dragon nodded and spoke in a tiny and cute voice. "It's definitely worth investigating. We have nothing to do anyways." Dominus nodded in acknowledgement and walked out of the forest to the main roads.
He spread his Aura Sense, his ability to sense different 'Auras' or souls of sentient beings and detected a certain 'Aura' heading to the city of Einthore, the capital of the kingdom of Inthe. "Well Draco, we have a lead. Shall we go?" The dragon nodded and as they stepped out of the forest, Dominus' silver colored chestplate and boots shone in the sunlight as
Draco's scales and the sapphire blue orb in it's chest did the same. They continued walking until the reached a nearby cliff and that, that was where Dominus stood. The cliff's edge.
Both had smiles on their faces as they were both looking forward to their new adventure, if this could even be considered an adventure. Dominus spread his arms apart and jumped down plummeting from top to bottom, only reaching to to explode into dust right before they made impact after the 900 meter fall.
Unbeknownst to them, this would be a very serious matter and coincidentally, their means of finally defeating and slaying an enemy they had been searching far and wide a few dozen thousand years for.
So then, shall we let this adventure begin?
