It's Raining Again
"Oh…. sure. I'll hold it in then!" Naturally, Mengyao wouldn't let all of Lin Yi's effort go to waste.
Lin Yi was still transferring energy into Mengyao via his left hand while his right hand was busy with the needles and acupuncture points. Mengyao, on the other hand, was getting paler and paler. Her forehead was drenched in sweat. It seemed like the whole process had taken a great toll on her.
"Yaoyao sis, you can do it. You are the best. You've been Shu's idol this entire time." Yushu was still holding Mengyao's hand as she cheered her up.
"En…." Mengyao smiled bitterly. Her voice had changed, "Shu, I'm in great pain!"
"I know. If I could, I would have taken your place!" Yushu said sincerely.
"Ke, how would I allow you to take this for me? Luckily it was me this time, not you…." Mengyao smiled. "Don't you worry. I'm not that fragile. I can handle this!"
