The greenhorn demon turned around and saw something that terrified him to the bones. He tried to say something but no chance was given. He turned into an ice and disintegrated after the man touched it.
Raygen was all bloody when he entered and saw what happened. He said nothing about it and checked if there were more enemies around. Judging that demons were no longer around, he approached the man who killed the greenhorn demon.
"Thanks again, Mister…uhm"
"Ryou" the man said in reply.
"Mister Ryou, we are really very thankful." Raygen repeated.
"Go check on her" Mister Ryou said as he noticed the old woman on the ground. He then turned his attention to a box on the corner of the room.
"Grandma Reggie, are you alright?" asked Raygen to the old woman.
"I'm alright. My Lord, there are many monsters emerging from the Farkel forest." replied the old woman.
"I know. I just need to activate the crystal and wait for reinforcement to come. We will kill all that will come. Thank you for protecting my boy. I casted a shield on Marie. I need you to go to her."
"Thank God. Right, my lord the crystal, I accidentally put it beside the young lord."
"Oh no… get that crystal away from the boy." An angry voice suddenly filled the room after the old woman finished her words. It wasn't Raygen who said this but Mister Ryou who was still holding the box. Without waiting for Raygen to act, he rushes to where the boy is and tried to get the crystal away. Before he can touch the crystal, it gave of a weird sound and activated the formation within. Aura exploded and burst forth outside creating a huge wall blocking the monsters from advancing to Hopeful Light town.
"We are too late. Demon Guardian Gate Formation. (sigh)"
"Mister Ryou, what's happening here?" Raygen asked, very confused on Mister Ryou's behavior.
"I hope your kid is as lucky as you are Mister Raygen. If not, then not even me can help him." Replied Mister Ryou.
"What's wrong my Lord?" Grandma Reggie asked, dumbfounded.

It can expand the mana containers inside the body and mana gathering can be easily done after."
