Yun Lingxin gave the bowl of chicken congee to her, then he sat down to the chair near her.
"I heard that you didn't need a servant."
Liang Xinyue stared the hot bowl of congee in her hand and didn't paid attention to him like she didn't hear his statement. Her full attention was at the food. She lifted the spoon with a piece of chicken of it.
Yun Lingxin was feeling upset and frustrated when she didn't given him any of her attention. He had this feeling to snatch the congee in her hands, but before he could proceed he saw that she already lifted the spoon and ready to eat it. but after a few moments later he was stupefied and almost laugh so hard.
When the spoon touches her mouth. Liang Xunyue's eyes grew big like a doe's eyes. She suddenly spat out the food and let go of the spoon.
The corner of her eyes has some tears in it and some even spilled to her tender cheeks. Then she heard a muffled sound to her sides and look at the source.
She saw him hiding his laughter with a hand on his mouth and the other was in his stomach. She even saw tears in the corner of his eye's that refuses to fall and the quivering of his shoulder.
She felt something heavy in her heart. Her eyebrow subconsciously furrowed and felt that her eyes were hot. She had this feeling that make her stares an ice-bone chilly when she look at him.
Yun Lingxin was having a difficult time pressing his laughter when he felt someone was staring daggers at him that made him stop abruptly. He lifted his head and saw that she was staring at him angrily.
He was shock inside when he saw her eyes was in a bloody color and it was getting lighter as seconds passed by. He also saw that the bed was giving the cold air.
His eyes narrowed slightly when he saw the hot congee becomes frozen solid. The food that was steaming hot earlier is now steaming cold air.
He stood up immediately and hold her wrist which cover in bondage. He look at her seriously and said in a deep serious tone. "Stop it."
Liang Xinyue snapped out of it when she heard him in his tone. She was in a daze when she look at him. Her eyes which were bloody red now turned to its ink black color, and the cold air she was giving now stopped. The only thing that didn't change was the frozen solid congee.
"What happened?"
She look at him looking puzzled like she didn't know what happened earlier. Yun Lingxin still looking at her seriously, a fast light flashed in his eyes. Then in a snap of a finger his seriousness disappear and turned to its usual of being carefree man.
He took the frozen solid food without her looking at it then called one of his shadow guard who was in hiding. "Qing Long, get this out and bring a freshly cook of chicken congee."
A man in black appeared then bowed slightly and hold the the frozen congee in his hand then disappear. Only a few minutes later he came back with a newly cooked chicken congee and brought it to his master then disappeared again.
