In vain, Ra had acted in vain trying to get the priestess to feel sympathy. He could not understand how she was so unaffected, as a priestess shouldn't she just heal those in need of healing without compensation, that is her job is not? Ra was eventually going to offer riches since he assumed she was poor, but now it would seem that the girl will render him broke.
"Sir Ra Ashir, I do have other people who have requested my services, if you are unable to afford them, there are other people who can. I shall leave and meet with them instead," Tria said.
"Oh revered priestess, please stay, I apologize for my rudeness, I just did not expect the priestess to ask for compensation, as your job is such a sacred one," Ra said, still trying to get a bargain.
"Sacred or not, it's called a job for a reason, it would seem that Sir Ashir expected free services...I should apologize for having wasted your time, goodbye."
Ra Ashir heard Tria's footsteps rushing for the door.
'Oh no! she's leaving!'
"Revered Priestess! Revered Priestess! I offer you my life, I offer to be your subordinate for life," Ra Ashir said without thinking, even he was surprised to hear himself.
"Haha, too cheap. I have heard of you Sir Ashir, and I don't believe your life has any worth, I'll tell you what!? Since you are so desperate, I shall let you see for the next three days, find something that you think I will find worthy of payment, and I will heal your eyes permanently."
"I-I...my life has worth...and three days? Um let me think, let me think...I I-
Before he could finish his words, he felt a cold hand over his forehead, and gradually, his eyesight came back.
With a smile reaching back to his ears, he stared at the girl in front of him, and the mysterious man behind her, and he couldn't find the words to express his happiness.
"No need for thank you, this is the only time you'll ever get anything from me free anyways, we shall see each other soon."
Before Ra Ashir could process the rapid events that took place, Tria had already left along with Chukah, leaving him standing like a statue in the little room.
He was too happy to have noticed any familiarities in Tria's eyes, and now that his eye was healed, the only thing he could think of was the three days he had to come up with a plan for the priestess to join his side and to start his next agenda.
"Wahaha! Wahahaha!" Ra laughed maniacally, oblivious that his laughter could be heard from down the streets.
"Little sister, why did you heal that wicked man? I understand he is your....he was related to you at some point but I don't get it," Chukah complained.
"His eyes are blind from the greed from his heart, no matter what I did, they would not heal. I did not heal him, I cannot heal him, only he can heal himself if he was to understand how wicked he truly was and change his ways. That will never happen, Hoth knew, the moment his saw Hoth's lunar body, all of his dirty desires would blind him...I have only cleared the darkness shrouding his eyesight for a bit," Tria patiently explained and sighed.
She did not want to treat the father of this body as such, but if time after time the guilty person would not admit his faults, and be oblivious to the destruction they were causing to themselves.
"What if at the banquet he realizes-
"We'll have to wait and see, I do not expect much from him, this will be a test I hope he can succeed in, as well as the last straw. If after this long, after being demoted, after being blind, after being cast aside did not clear his head, I don't believe I will make much of difference."
Chukah did not know what to say, Tria was right.
They both discreetly returned to the third prince's manor, where Crei was patiently waiting for his wife's return.
