Ra Ashir left not long after them, and now that he was able to see, he walked back home watching the streets bustling with activities. Realizing that he had missed such sights, he vowed to find a way for his eyes to be permanently healed. He was in great euphoria, and he was even gladder because when he got home he received an invitation to the banquet at the royal palace, welcoming the priestess.
Ra could not contain his joy knowing that he had already met the priestess, he had an advantage over those old farts who would probably try to get close to the priestess at the banquet. He could not stop praising his luck and decided that this event will be his rise back to power.
"Let's bring along Nala, the emperor will be able to realize his mistake during this event, and rearrange the marriage with the crown prince," he said to Madame Ashir who was sitting across from him, drinking her tea.
Madame Ashir had been blaming Ra for their fall, but now that she knew he was acquainted with the priestess, there might be a chance for the comeback.
"What if he still doesn't," Madame Ashir expressed her doubts.
"It'll be his loss then, I have plans in place, don't worry."
Madame Ashir left with a large smile on her face, striding towards Nala's room.
Over the past few months, Nala had matured quite a bit, she no longer looked a little girl, she was ready to marry and claim her rightful place next to the crown prince. She had never stopped believing that it would occur.
Madame Ashir walked into her room and stared at her beautiful daughter.
"Nala, my darling, your father was invited to a banquet at the palace, and we are going too," she excitedly said.
"Oh Mother, what great news, but what about his eyes, won't people laugh at us?" Nala said.
"What am I thinking! I even forgot to tell you, your father's eyes are healed my child, he was healed by the priestess!"
Nala was shocked to know that her family was now acquainted with the priestess, no wonder her father wanted her to go to the banquet. He had a plan.
"By the way mother, I have heard the servants talk about sister Tria...she was seen in the streets along with the third prince...and they said she looked very happy," Nala said biting the corner of her lips.
Madame Ashir did not know what to say in this situation, she knew how powerful the third prince really was, and his chances to ascend the throne, if she didn't do anything about Tria, her Nala will lose her chance.
Smiling she said," There is nothing to worry about my beautiful daughter, once you walk into those royal doors, who would not break their necks to take a look at you? your time will come, and it is sooner than we imagined."
"I will go find the most beautiful dress to wear, mother, we might no longer be in power, but we still have our family's name to uphold," Nala righteously said and smiled, she knew what her mother what thinking about, and she was glad that they were thinking the same.
"Hmm, go ahead my child, and let mother see."
