Chapter 100 - Junra 21st - Rose

Hunter sighed as they walked; Luna looked behind to see Hunter depressed about something. She looked around to see people staring at him, whispering as they walked the street. When Hunter looked at them, they would wince and pull away from him. Luna could see why Hunter was distraught by the villager's reaction.

Luna stopped as Hunter bumped into her. "What the—Lady Luna, what is the matter? Why did you stop?"

Luna looked over at a young child shivering in the corner. The child frozen in fear as she walked up to her. The child screamed as Luna reached out to the child. The adults flinched in horror as they fear for their lives.

Luna smiled as she touched the young child's arm. "There, there, little one. I am not going to hurt you." Luna tore a piece of her white dress off and wrapped the child's arm. "There, that should help with keeping that wound covered."

Hunter sighed as he walked over, but the villagers had another idea. They threw rocks at Luna; Luna pulled the child close to her as she winces on pain from the stones being pelted at her. The child looked up at her see that was not what she expected began to cry. This prompted the villagers more.

Hunter ignited a wall of ice behind Luna, as he walked in between the villagers and the ice wall. "That's enough! What good would it do to kill another innocent life just because I am here!" One of the men went to speak when Hunter turned to him. "Look, I know the Faremin, and myself included, have done much to hurt you, but she is just like you! She lost her parents to the Faremin over twenty years ago, and now she is fighting to save everyone from the same fate as her home. One of her friends saved me from the lies and deception that they did to me, and I know that does not change the fact that I might have hurt you in some way. Yet that does not mean we cannot change!"

One of the villagers readied to throw when a hand stopped them. It was an older man, he turned to Hunter and saw that he was ready to break down into tears. "What is going on here and why is this young man ready to bawl his eyes out?" The villagers winced, turning away in shame.

"Go back to your master clone!" a young man called out as he shot towards Hunter.

"Hiro!"

Hunter dodged the arrow, making Hiro angry. The old man when to say something as Hiro charged him, pulling out a knife. Hunter lifted his hand and shook his head. The old man understood what Hunter was asking and stayed his voice. Hiro went to strike when Hunter turned to his side and grabbed Hiro by the collar of his shirt. Then seizing his wrist, twisting the knife out of his hand.

"OW, ow, ow, ow! Let go of me, you clone!" Hiro hollered.

Hunter squeezed harder as he grinned at his words. "I am not a clone, yes I might have come out of the same facility, but I was placed in there by my mother to protect me and save my life." Hiro spat at Hunter. "Yet, here we are using the very same tactic as those you hate. Fear as a weapon, attacking the one who is the very thing that the Faremin forces fear and is the very person that can and will turn to the favour of the Faremins enemies!"

Hiro stopped at he hear what Hunter said. He turned to see tears forming in Hunter's eyes. Hiro began to feel guilt ravage his insides as he turned to the others. They to looked at is guilt was tearing them apart. The old man stared at Hunter and Hiro, seeing that Hunters' words held some truth, turned as he walked over.

He touched Hunter's arm. Hunter looked up at him and let Hiro go. Hiro fell to the ground and looked up at the man. He turned his head away as the man turned to Hunter, "I am sorry that this happened, but we have all been attacked by the Faremin in some way or another, most of us—including Hiro here—have been attack by you personally. Or those who had looked like you?"

Hunter turned over to Luna as he released his spell. "Yeah, I know. I thought for the longest time that I was a clone of the friend of Lady Luna's but found out through our grandfather that wasn't the case."

The man stared into Hunter's eyes; he could see a man who had gone through trying time. "I see, just how important is Lady Luna?"

Luna talked to the child, her smile comforted him, "She is Lunatica."

The man and Hiro's eyes widen in shock, "You're not serious, are you?" The man asked. Hunter turned to him, seeing that Hunter was severe by the look in his eyes. The man backed up and turned to Luna, "By the heaven's …we—we almost had Lunatica killed!?"

The villagers stood in shock as they looked at their hands and let go of the rocks they were holding. They realized that they were almost like the Faremin soldiers. Where if they would have killed Lunatica's reincarnation. Hiro sat up and looked at Luna as she walked over. A bottomless pit of disgust towards his actions filled him. Hiro could not look at her as Luna approached.

"Hunter, thank you for doing this peacefully, and thank you for stopping the villagers from continuing their wrongs." Luna bowed at the man.

The man sighed as he bowed. "I am terribly sorry for this, milady. We will try and not make the same mistake again. I—"

"It's alright, we all make mistakes, even I do. Yet we must learn from them, we are all mortal. Even theyans…" Her voice trailed off. Hunter knew why, as he turned away.

Hiro noticed the air became tense. As he watched them. "Did something happen?"

"Hiro!"

Luna looked at him as she raises her hand. "Yes, my friend, he spoke about earlier, well he was a theyan that was killed by Hunters hands, even though he did it to save Hunter from the Faremin. He also was a theyan and the person that I loved."

Hiro looked at Hunter as he could not watch a Luna as she spoke. He realized that he felt guilty for his actions. "well, why is he helping you now? He killed you lover and—"

Luna closed her eyes. "Because he was asked by Lovell, to protect me in his stead as the Ren-Ky of Hope."

Hiro's eyes widen. "W-wait th-the Ren-Ky's a-are—"

Luna nodded, "Yes, we had all seven together before Lovell passed away. His death drove us all apart, and I wish they would return sooner than later. But they must find themselves after everything they did to Lovell just before his passing." Tears escaped her eyes. "Sorry, it's been hard trying to keep everything together. But Hunter and I are doing what we can to gain allies in the fight against Demora. We both know that even the people of the Faremin are being oppressed in one way or another."

Hiro gritted his teeth and clenched his hand into a tight fist. "Lady Luna, let us help!"

"Hiro, what are you saying we cannot help them. We are—"

"No, we can! We have connections to the trader's, and they can pass around that Lunatica is alive and searching for help to stop Demora and free Faremin from their chains! We can help! All of us!" The villagers began to chat amongst themselves as Hiro spoke. "If we do our part in stopping Demora then we all can live without fear. Yes, there will be roadblocks along the way, but it will be better than knowing our children might not live. That's the life I want. A future with where our descendants will live to the fullest."

Luna smiled as she notices the villagers standing in agreement. Their silent acknowledgement was enough to bring tears of joy to Luna. The man touched her shoulder as she could not stop smiling.

"Thank you, all of you."

Hunter smiled as he glanced over at her, "Well, we can leave within the week. I think we need to discuss what should be said and how we should proceed." Hunter explained his idea's as Luna joined in.

They talked for hours with the villagers asking and aiding on the plans. Hiro ordered the which villager were to do what as the day drew to a close. Hiro brought them to his place and told them to stay the nigh before leaving.

"Look I know you two want to stay here for a week, but I think that will be more of hinderance than a benefit?"

Hunter nodded, "Yes, you are right, but we need to regroup ourselves at the same time since where we are heading are Faremin deserters that we wish to add to our cause."

Luna nodded, "Yes, just like here we might come across other just like the people of this village where they know who you are Hunter. Even though we are on the norther half of Serl, we need to be cautious, the norther areas were ravage more by the Faremin that the southern half Like Grand Dale and Gold Heart Kingdoms? We have to contend with more hostility because of your involvement with—well you know?"

Hunter nodded. "Yes, I see your point, even though the Beastman Kingdom lies on the eastern part we have to be wary or hiccups of my doing." He turned to Hiro, "Hiro, do you know anything about the Demon kingdom that lies on the east?"

Hiro sighed, "Yes, and they are tricky people, they have a non-disclosure with the Faremin Kingdom where they hold power over any and all Kingdoms since they have the trading dock to the other countries across the ocean."

Luna puzzled by Hiro words. "What do you mean by power over the other Kingdoms?"

Hiro shook his head, "You have to gamble something for info, and you must be willing to give up something worth value to them. They Faremin tried to invade but were defeat with ten minutes with there anti-military cannons and mass interfering pulse cannons, rendering military useless."

Hunter went pale as he listened. "By the heavens, that is terrifying? Now how are we going to gain them as an ally against Demora?"

Hiro shrugged, "No idea all I know is that they have deep traditions where their borders are open to all and if you are caught trying to kill someone or are found to have killed someone within their land. You can kiss your life good by as you will have to become a slave for eighty years or more as punishment." Hunter winced at the idea. "But they have some sort of relationship with a person, know idea who they are but if they say a certain line, they can see the King within the hour."

Hunter looked at Luna, "I know, we must find out who that person is and gain their help to get the Daemon Kingdom on our side to fight Demora."

Hunter nodded as Hiro stared at them, sighing. "Well I will do some digging on my end but you two should get some sleep its late as it is. And you two have a long journey ahead." Hiro led them to their rooms, letting them settle in for the night.
