Luna had figured out the bunny heard her heart pounding so again she tried again ten feet the bunny perked its ears and continued hopping around Luna moved closer but the bunny suddenly turned its head and saw her and dashed off in the grass. Luna saw her mistake and again she tried again. Six feet she was constantly adjusting herself to hide from its view and to avoid the wind but as she moved around the bunny's ears perked up and dashed off in the opposite direction. Hmm to loud. The sun was setting and under the setting sun the black bunny became almost impossible to spot. It often remained still closing its eyes and listening as the night was the most dangerous time to be out of its den. Aego who was outside of the magic zone had set up the tent and was already leaning against a tree sleeping.
After a few fail attempts she realized this was actually a good opportunity. She realized she couldn't get within fifteen feet of the bunny as she was moving to loudly. Before she didn't dare move when its ears weren't perked up she even held her breath. She also learned that if she followed the bunny's trail left by its tiny burst of mana she could use that as the general location to find it sooner. Before she did the same thing but she chased it and it would zig zag in different directions. But now she didn't chase it so after a short burst the bunny would usually just go straight in a direction once the danger was gone it would slow down. So as long as she waited and kept a distance she would find it again after following the direction it went in. Aego who had dazed off had a rare dream of his happier childhood memories. His father had once took him out hunting to hunt this same bunny that Luna was chasing. His father was very manly from his facial features and his semi muscular build. He would always remember how mighty his father's aura was. It was also because of this mighty aura that he hated his father.
As the hours slowly passed sweat streamed down her cheeks and dropped from her chin as she leaned over out of breath while maintaining her vision on the bunny. In the past seven hours she learned how to make almost no noise as she was finally able to get within ten feet. Aego woke up early as usual and saw the progress he couldn't help but smile at her progress. He cooked a simple breakfast while Luna was eating Aego squatted over with a few stalks of celery a few seconds later the bunny hopped over hesitant at first but it walked up and started to eat the celery. The scene made Luna choke on her breakfast. Aego looked over I didn't give any restrictions. Chugging down some water Luna was still speechless as she watched the bunny eat.
Sasori and Aela had long left Aego and Luna behind as they ran through the forest. Sasori kept a high pace so Aela was sweating all over. Oh a village. Sasori changed her outfit as her shorts and tank top caused to much trouble last time so she instead wore black sweats that were a tight fit with a plain white t-shirt with no sleeves that was also a tight fit. Her clothing choice did nothing to hide her seductive body. Aela who was much more conservative wore pretty much the same thing but much more loose and her shirt had sleeves with Elven design patterns at the bottom of her shirt.
Looking at Sasori who was casually walking forward aren't you embarrassed? Embarrassed. Why? Well it shows a lot. Of course I want to show off. Don't you get tired of the stares? I get them anyway. Shouldn't you try hide it. It's just a hassle. I'm a foxkin I'm gonna attract unwanted trouble regardless mind as well just invite them. It also attracts the hesitant. Stopping and turning around with a fierce stare I'm not that helpless little girl anymore. Anyone who wants to forcefully enslave girls should just die. Realizing her intentions Aela went quiet. She's baiting them to protect other girls. How many have you killed? Turning back around not enough. Didn't Aego enslave you? He's different. How so he's just another man. Turning back to face Aela again with a sad expression someone who has been hurt as badly as he has physically or mentally wouldn't hurt others so easily. With a cherry tone and turning back around besides I asked him to. Huh! you asked him to? Why? I love him.
Why would you love him? Ignoring Aela she continued to walk towards the village. Getting closer to the village they could see guards stationed behind a crudely built wall. Seeing a beastkin and an elf they let them in without stopping the two. Mostly because they were dumbfounded by the beautiful pair and it was to late as they had already entered. People stared but Sasori found it odd as there was very few men in the village. Aela also noticed but as they walked by the small tavern a large group of ten to fifteen adventures where gathered. Almost in unison the group of adventures that mostly consisted of men looked at the pair. Some stared with a hint of lust while others just stared in awe. The village was rather desolate no one was selling anything. Seems like the gate devastation reached even here. Aela agreed with Sasori as they continued walking a young teen elf girl with a sylphlike figure and long blonde hair ran up to them begging to save her sister from the goblin mob.
I'm sorry we don't have time for this. From the corner of Sasori's eyes she glimpsed someone following them. Aela who was watching from the side saw the direction she was looking at and also glimpsed a shadow as it hid behind a wall.
