"Do you mind if I ask about what you saw?" With one hand of the wheel, Arius looked over at Asrael.
"Huh?"
"Yesterday. What scares you?"
Asrael smiled with a sense of melancholy. "I didn't know I was afraid of anything."
"What was it?" Arius asked, pushing Asrael to continue.
"I... I was looking down at my hands- They were bloody." Asrael leaned back in the seat. "And when I looked up..." Asrael stopped smiling.
Arius stayed silent, he was prepared for him to be unable to say anything, and that would be fine. Though, he still wanted to hear more.
"I can't say..." Asrael looked out the window.
"You don't have to." Arius told him.
Besides Asrael giving directions to Arius, it was silent. Arius speculated all the things that Asrael could have seen, and like most things, it probably relates to his mom.
Arius could see that Asrael was much more cooperative since he'd seen what he'd seen. It could always be an act, but Arius didn't doubt Eirik's ability even for a second.
"We're here." Asrael told Arius. He nodded, then found a place to park the car. The two had nothing planned as they opened the car doors and walked out.
Arius came to a sudden realization.
"It's the abandoned factory!" Arius exclaimed. He hadn't realized it since they took a different route, but now he could clearly see the familiar fence and grey cement holding the building together.
"You know it?" Asrael looked over with his eyes squinted and head tilted.
"Yea, if you hadn't moved to Piper street we might've met here." Arius crossed his arms and nodded.
"Small world." Asrael moved his legs, heading towards the front of the building. He knocked, no one answered. He knocked again, no one answered. He turned the door nob, it was locked.
"Allow me." Arius gently pushed him aside, then kicked the door a few times until it fell down.
"Nice." Asrael complimented with a smile, which somehow looked evil.
"I learned it from Eirik." Arius smiled back. They walked in and couldn't see a thing, it was pitch black. "Are you sure they are here?"
"Should be." Asrael looked in Arius's direction, not that he could see him though.
"Hang on." Arius took out his phone, then turned it on flash light mode. There were no conveyor belts or anything that represented a factory at all, it had all been redesigned when Asrael took over the place.
"Idiots." Asrael muttered as he bent down to pick up a gun that was lain on the hard cement floor. It was loaded.
They walked further in, until they could see light coming from a door in one of the hallways. Asrael and Arius looked at each other, then Arius turned the flashlight mode on his phone off.
Asrael pointed at Arius then at the ground, signaling him to stay there. Then he turned towards the door and walked to it. When he opened it, he was greeted by a bullet that hit his chest, making him stumble back a bit.
"Captain!" One called, which was followed by the greetings of several others, some happy, some worried, and others relieved.
"Delorah?" Asrael stood, looking amongst the eighteen people for the sight of an older woman with black hair.
"I'm on it." She walked forward, holding her box of medical tools. Once she stood in front of him, she took out a slightly large pair of tweezers.
"As soon as I'm gone, you all suddenly lose order?" Asrael looked at them disapprovingly as Delorah dug the tweezers into the hole in his chest, pulling out a bullet. "Lufti?"
"It was uncertain whether you would return."
Asrael chuckled. "And what if I didn't?"
Albeit not everyone cared for what Asrael had to say, it was completely silent. He scanned them with his eyes, his gaze landing on a young man with dark skin. He glared at Asrael, he was so livid it was a wonder he hadn't sprung to his feet and stabbed Asrael with the knife he spun in his hand.
"Kane, come here." Asrael ordered, and immediately after, Kane japped his knife into the drywall behind him.
